When we moved here a year and a half ago, we discovered Chickadees restaurant and it WAS one of our favorites! We were frequent customers. The quality of their food has been subpar at best lately. The chowder is served at room temperature consistently.
The food is GREASY! They don’t filter or change the oil frequently enough to keep standards acceptable. The burnt taste is in the food. Servers have turned over and they seem like they don’t care.

We went twice last week for a birthday party for my husband and a graduation for a friend. First night service and food were terrible. Our group was the first people in the back room and the last to get served. Very disappointed the waitress never came back to check on us. They were 13 of us. Six of them were kids and after being there from 6 o’clock they were very hungry then we found out that we had to go for a graduation party the very next night.
