Best take out we have had in a long time. The Haddock was mine and my wife's favorite. We ate there multiple times and loved every bite. We go to Lubec every year and Small Town Takeout is the place for fresh food.

Small town has great menu choices for all. The food is prepared well and very tasty. The popcorn shrimp was hot and flavorful and a huge quantity for $8. The lobster quesadilla was loaded with a nice amount of meat and again, very good. Onion rings are a have to have here too.

Looking for an affordable place to buy lobster rolls. This place was recommended by our campground and it did not disappoint. Our food came out very quickly and was delicious. The rolls had lots of meat. I had the coleslaw which was crunchy and not a soppy mess, just the way I like it. The onion rings were also on point. I may have to try out their scallops on my next visit. What a great hole in the wall food spot!

This little take-out shop offers great local food at reasonable prices. They are well organized and have an interesting menu. It is primarily a fried seafood shop but they do have other options. My husband had the daily special which was a chicken wrap with choice of sauce....he picked blue cheese and said it was delicious. I had fried haddock which was fresh and not greasy.

For many years now my husband and I have been vacationing in Maine on the off season and last year we added the Bold Coast to our itinerary. The Covid restrictions had been lifted and we went to Campobello Island for the first time. We spent the afternoon and early evening there but it wasn't nearly enough time so we decided that we would return and we did return this year. We knew we didn't want to make the same mistake we made last year when we had nothing to eat on the island. So this year we decided we would get some takeout and picnic on the island. We asked around for places that did takeout and were directed to Small Town Takeout. What a find! We both ordered a chicken wrap and didn't really know what to expect. When we unwrapped our wraps at a picnic spot on one of the carriage road viewpoints and picnic areas, we were pleasantly surprised. The wraps were huge--packed full of chicken and so tasty. Our order was filled quickly and with a smile. No wonder the locals were there too. We will return next year and do it all again. Can't wait!

A great find in our visit to Lubec. Great food, super fresh, and fast service. Cole slaw is soooooooo good. They have a cute little seating area out front where you can sit with your dog. Will definitely go back.

Small Town Takeout serves delicious food! We had the Taco Salad, which was very fresh and tasty. My other family members had a fish sandwich which had a very large portion of very fresh fish. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is family owned and they are all so friendly and accommodating. Best food in Lubec. You won’t be disappointed

I absolutely love the broccoli, bacon, cheese bites and mozzarella sticks! So yummy! The staff are locals and so nice. The seafood is caught fresh daily by the husband while the wife cooks it up.
