We were able to get a dinner reservation during one of the last nights they were open for the season. It was the best meal of our entire trip! So happy we were able to catch a table before they closed down.
We had supper at the tavern. It is a very popular place. It is always full and it is difficult to make reservations. We had haddock dinner which came with 2 sides. They did not have French fries and had small roasted potatoes instead. I had the roasted potatoes and the house salad. My husband had roasted brussel sprouts which were overcooked and burnt. We had dinner in the tavern on 9/11/24. You do need a reservation. Such a great place. My pasta with scallops dish was the best food of my Maine trip. The scallops were cooked perfectly and there must have been 15 in my dish. A great find in such a tiny town.
