They were awesome! The pup cup was amazing. I almost gave my coffee to the dog and ate the pup cup myself.

Okay, everybody knows Duncan gets five stars. I mean come on, who doesn't love Dunkin' donuts?
Me.
And yet I do. Just like you I've succumbed to the devaluation of what I understand to be good.
You see I'm old enough to remember hometown bakeries and donut shops where the pastries and other baked items were made from scratch. When you first walked in the first thing you notice is fresh baked bread. And there is nothing, absolutely nothing more valuable than a homemade donut.
But this is become a lost art in most towns and most of us aren't willing to compete with the Giants like Dunkin' donuts. Those 3% margins they run on are just too tough to match.
So we the people, have consequently forgotten, and have therefore lost, our taste for the finer things.

“Very odd spelling”
of a totally normal Irish name, in an area with a high population of people with Irish heritage.
I wish Dunkin paid their employees enough to care about being more polite to the customers. I don’t enjoy being told my order didn’t show up, and then being told she kept reading it wrong bc of the “very odd spelling.”
What else can I tell you. This crew does it right. One of my favorite parts of my day is picking up my breakfast sandwhich, home fries and hot coffee for the trip to work in the morning.
Parking: As most of the vehicle traffic at the Machias, Dunkins is drive through, there is always plenty of parking close to the front entry.

Always way too busy! The people working there most of the time seem to not know what's going on.... Lots of room for improvement.

The chocolate glaze was a soggy donut. The glaze doesn't stick to it, it just soaks into it. Horrible. They were out of everything to make a breakfast sandwich. They never are stocked well.
