Pats has been a favorite of mine since discovering it in the 1980s. I think I have eaten at every one of them and must say the new owners in Machias are making the best Pats I have had. Cooked just right, loaded with topping and a great environment. Orono is still special from college days but Machias is as good or better than any of them.
Order the Buffalo Chicken wrap and chips today!! So good!! Will definitely order again!!

We had been loyal customers with minimal complaint after getting some adjustments made. Not bad at all. Then one day, the pizza was not so good and we all got very sick...we tried again-The pizza was not good (thankfully not all of us were ill). And a third time...NOT good. We bumped into the owner, found out she sold it! WHAT A BUMMER. I miss pizza....there is no way everything is the same! just new ownership..no way. Something has changed, for the worst.

Pats pizza is thin crust pizza which i am not honestly a fan of., however, they have great tasting pizza.
There dining areas, and kitchen are very clean.
The service is quick and polite. There is ample seating, clean rest rooms. Take out or dine in.

I recently dined at Pats, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a family gathering.
The pizza is truly the star of the show. The crust is perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings are fresh and generous. I tried the Margherita and the BBQ chicken, both of which were bursting with flavor.
The grill offerings are equally impressive. The grilled chicken sandwich was juicy and seasoned to perfection, and the sides complemented the meal beautifully.
Service was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, Pays is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious pizza and grilled dishes. I can’t wait to go back!

Today I ordered a turkey Dagwood and got this disappointing monstrosity of a sandwich instead-
It contained a little bit of turkey, some cheese, pickles, mass amounts of Kalamata olives accompanied by ungodly chunks of chopped onion (which tasted old, like they’d sat in the fridge for a couple days), green pepper and tomato all without any trace of mayo or sauce. Not like any Dagwood I’ve ever had.. hopefully it was an order mixup.
Pizzas are always great!

Inconspicuous, but in my opinion an insider tip when traveling through Maine. Quite normal restaurant where many locals probably eat. The service is very nice and friendly, rather discreet and reserved, acts carefully and with the desired attention. The pizza is richly topped at a fair price, and there are various extras available upon request. We felt very comfortable here and can absolutely recommend the location!

Heartbroken to say we’ll never go back after being loyal customers here for the last 4 years. Ordered a steak and cheese and cheese breadsticks today. The steak and cheese was a block of steak that had never been cut up or diced; they just took a frozen block of cheap steak, cooked it and put it in a roll. Not normal for here. What’s worse, the breadsticks were severely undercooked. For $30, never again. Their new cook is terrible and there is no quality control.

The food is a basic standard for a "pizza place" that also serves various subs, appetizers, and a few pasta dishes. I have no complaints about service, the people have always been nothing but respectful and professional. The atmosphere gets a lower rating just because it doesn't strike me as a place I want to actually sit and eat at.

Obviously the previous poster didn’t read the menu before ordering. Pizza was made exactly as described in the menu. Pats staff is always friendly and courteous and makes pizzas as requested or as listed on the menu.
I don’t know how someone can screw up a margarita pizza but this place has done it! A margarita pizza without tomato sauce and without actual basil leaves but with dried, processed basil and huge chunks of tomato slices squished into the pizza.
We tried this place out while travelling through Maine and god, what a bad idea this was. We had few slices and threw the rest away. Don’t intend on coming back.
