Excellent home made food. Service is great and Helen always checks on her guests to make sure everything was fine. Daily specials are great. Today we had a taco salad, surpassed my expectations.
First time customer at a decent place called- Chez Helen in Madawaska, Me.. It was later in the day, and they offered a breakfast menu which I love ! So I ordered eggs, crispy bacon home fries w/ onions and home toast and coffee. My hubby ordered fish, French fries, and carrots. W/water. (Pictures provided) I really enjoyed my meal. We stopped off in Madawaska while travelling through northern Maine. One of our group has severe gluten allergies. Chez Helen had great options on the menu for people with, and without, gluten allergies. We found good portions, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere. Would visit again!
