Big ups to Bissell’s kitchen! I ordered the meatloaf and it was phenomenal. It felt like eating a home made meal, the flavors were on point, and I enjoyed the presentation - all for a reasonable price! My compliments to the chef! Substance is one of my favorite beers and enjoying it with tasty food is a real treat!
I've been here once when I was supporting my partner in a century bike run a few years back since it was held in Millinocket. Simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. Think Bissell Brothers in the early days in the industrial park area in Portland when they were serving it out of their garage. Had a great dinner yet again!! The chicken sandwich and burger we had were so tasty. Everything we’ve ever had has been delicious. Dinners, lunch and Sunday brunch as well. Chef Joe always does an amazing job. The staff behind the bar are also great. Brittany is fantastic! She remembers people, she is always friendly and upbeat. She also has a fantastic knowledge of all the beers and can help recommend something that will be to your taste. Highly recommend a visit.
