Freedom Cafe & Pub Reviews
This is nothing against our server because she was great and very sweet and accomodating... management on the other hand... my husband and I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday... He heard really great things about this place from a number of his coworkers and people that live locally and let me tell you... we were both were very disappointed. The food was alright, nothing I'd really rave about... but the cocktail menu... VODKA, VODKA, AND MORE VODKA. Not much variety at all......read full review
Went their tonight for a show with my wife and elderly mother. Dana, who I believe was running the show, made sure we had a comfortable, easy access table with a beautiful view of the stage/dock. Excellent waitstaff and food made for a perfect evening. Thank you !!!
Unfortunately, there was a 2 hour wait, so we did not get to eat.

The Freedom Cafe & Pub offers a cozy lodge-style atmosphere and a unique take on classic dishes like clam chowder. The restaurant serves delicious burgers and drinks, with their haddock sandwiches and fries highly praised. Guests can enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating area, although it may not be suitable for young children during certain conditions. Recent visitors have also enjoyed the outdoor seating, especially for special occasions like birthdays, and have appreciated the friendly staff. However, some note that the cocktail menu could use more variety, with suggestions such as a better recipe for the cucumber cooler. Overall, the meals and service are well-liked, though there have been minor issues like doors slamming that could be improved.
