I had a delightful and creative lunch (Fancy Luncheon) at the Purple House! Chef Krista Kern Desjarlais is a very talented chef and a true treasure here in Maine!
This place is overpriced and overrated. 400tl per person to pitch a tent, 400tl for mediocre dinner. No hot water in the shower, you have to buy drinking water. Continue walking for 5 minutes and you’ll come to places that offer free camping
Great food - really, it’s bonkers how good it is - but you have to wait in the cold for anywhere from 45 minutes if you’re near the front of the line (which means you showed up way before it even opens) to 2+ hours if you have the gall to get there any time after they’ve opened.The food is great, but the service is without exaggeration the worst I’ve ever experienced simply because - I want to reiterate this - you have to wait outside in the cold for hours to get your...read full review
