“Every time my husband and I come to Ogunquit for vacation, this is our night #1 romantic dinner date spot. Best Thai place in Maine. Wonderful staples like pork dumplings, Panang curry and pad thai. Generous but not massive portions. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff. Trendy background music adding to the atmosphere. Overall memorable!“

“My family and I have been eating at Mekhong Thai Kennebunk since 1992. due to the nature of my employment, I have had the opportunity to not only taste the cuisines of Thai restaurants across the United States, but I’ve also had the pleasure of eating at Thai restaurants across Thailand. In my hundreds of dining adventures, there is no restaurant comparable to my Mekhong Thai Kennebunk. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is impeccable. I checked, and the new owners are actually family of the previous owners. The menu has been relatively unchanged, and I actually feel it has been improved. My family and I went to Ogunquit twice/years. We usually made Thai Seafood lime sauce and bring with us to eat with Maine seafood but we forgot this time. I called Thai for You in Yorks and ask if they have papaya salad and they offer to make it Esan style(with fermented crab, Prara- fermented fish sauce)

“My friend and I had lunch at Kennebunk Rice and Noodles today and I was surprised that we were the only ones in there (although we noticed there was a steady stream of "to go" orders being picked up). We both had the same idea of ordering a variety of dishes, eating a little bit of each and then taking the rest home. I discovered their in-house portions are larger than if you order for takeout. (Bonus!) Even after I consumed a good bit of the Pho, I had a hard time fitting the rest into their large pho container. I will have lunch and dinner for a few days with the leftovers! If you've never been to KR&N you are seriously missing out. This restaurant has the best Vietnamese food I've ever had (and I've been to a good number of Vietnamese restaurants across the country.) Everything's exceptionally fresh. Their prices are very reasonable especially given the generous portions. I support them any time I have a craving and hope you will too because I don't want them to go away! Consider paying them a visit and dining in, or order for takeout if dining in isn't an option. Either way, you will L❤️VE their food.“
