Visited the Basecamp of Maine Oyster Company and had an authentic experience! Farm tour, shucking class, and much more. Beautiful place to spend the day and watch a sunset or sunrise from the upper deck. Will definitely be back to this beautiful part of Maine.
This is what the slogan on the sign means when it says “Maine: the way life should be.” The houses are far enough away to feel like a vacation and close enough to town that groceries are easy enough to grab.
