Very mediocre sandwich. I agree with some other comments that the bread was not good. Soggy and super messy. Had to use the wrapping paper to keep it from falling out all over my lap. Frankly, Subway makes a better sandwich across the street. This was my first and last visit to this place.Sorry for the bad review, Amato’s, but just being honest here.

Had the rudest young girl at the ordering counter and the pickup counter wasn't much better... not the friendliest place!

Very displeased with the service at this location. We went up to order and the gentleman had AirPod in and had to ask us to repeat ourselves several times. Then when we went to pay the girl behind the counter was playing a game on her phone and half paying attention to us while we were trying to pay. While waiting for our order we watched her ring others up while still playing the game. It’s a shame because the food is very good but the service is lacking.

Awful food and even worse service. Give you two day old food when you call an order in and when you request a fresh one to be made. You are met with a rude overweight woman who should be home in bed. Amatos used to mean something in Maine. Such a shame. I will NEVER eat there again and I will make it known to everyone I know.

Fantastic food, great service, good value. Why go elsewhere when Amato's offers pizza, pasta dishes, and hot or cold subs.Parking: 5; total of 8 slots shared with another business at this location.Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicap parking spaces on opposite ends of the entrance and located beside ramps.

The Wife and I found this place looking for a quick bite (10/16/23). We ordered a meatball sandwich and some calzones. The food was 8 out of 10 (our opinion). The service was an absolute disgrace. They had over 3 tv screens with the entire menu displayed. My wife and I were looking over our options. The fat cow working behind the counter yelled, "I'm waiting to take your order." ( we were literally 15 feet from the counter, not like we were standing in front of this pig) It was very rude to which I replied, "we've never been here before and we're going over the menu." After we ordered our food the young girl working the register, decided to mumble and I replied, "what" she got extremely rude. That is when my wife stepped in and called her out. She crumbled instantly. Rude ass staff, decent food. We live 2,900 miles away and this staff was the worst we have ever come across.

Soggy wet nasty bread. Eaten a minute after purchase. They must have premade soggyness that they pull for your order. Literally saw my italian wrapped up, went straight to my vehicle and ate immediately with oil on the side. Without the oil it was so soggy that the bread was inedible ruining the whole experience. Won't be back.

Pretty good plate of pasta, would have preferred it without cheese, but what can you do.

It's a quick sandwich joint. Doesn't really need to be great.

Ordered a classic cold cut italian, ended up with a original Italian sandwich. The sandwich consisted of one slice of ham and one slice of cheese, it was barely recognizable. I was born in New York city, I have been a Chef fo more than 40 years and the Bread you are using is not Italian as it should be soft inside and crunchy on the outside. But as your cashier told me you have been in business since 1902, so you must be doing something right.

Food was great. Unfortunately, the employee at the register was not paying attention to my order. After repeating back to her a fairly simple modification (steak and cheese with no peppers), the prep time was very long, and when I received my sandwich, it still had all the peppers one might normally receive. Upon returning the sandwich, I again, had to repeat my request not just to the same employee, but made sure her colleague who was actually building the sandwiches heard and understood. By the time the oven finished, the small rush of customers had drained out, and I was left standing to watch as my sandwich came out of the conveyor oven and sat at the end while the employee who took my order originally had come down the line to chat and distract the others who were trying to work. One had to ask me what I was waiting for, and said to the others "Hey! Wrap that! He's been waiting for it." At least everyone was friendly about it, but the whole visit took much longer than it normally would or needed to.

Stop by aMattos today on the way home from the airport as always, and had an amazing experience! The girls working here, know exactly how to make all of the options and do a great job at it! They are very friendly kind and I will certainly be back!
