Belleville Bakery (or BLVL, as is printed on the front door) offered a relatively limited selection of pastries, most of the laminated persuasion. I had a cardamom bun, which was very good, though it had only a hint of cardamom taste. My friend had the morning bun which was satisfying, but nowhere near as good as Bread & Friends’ offering.

Pastries were pretty good, Kouign Aman not as crispy on the bottom as we expected. Chai was underwhelming. Generally good, but for the pricepoint will be checking out some other places.

OmgI heard about this place from friends how DELICIOUS for croissants ? yup this is the best croissant I’ve had in town here( feeling like I am walking on street in Paris wow wow wow!!I definitely need to try it again and again!!!
