Wonderful service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Great place. Worth a casual stop. Can't go 5 stars, but a solid 4 stars.
Appetizers: Excellent. Great choices and lots of flavors.
Drinks: So unique. Kinda small, but very artfully created.
Wine and beers: Pretty good.
Main courses: Good. Not excellent. This pulls the stars down to 4.
Prices: OK. Didn't feel like a bargain, but was not outrageous.
Service: Excellent.
Atmosphere: Casual for sure, comfortable, fun.

Jing Yan Tavern is a really cool neighborhood spot with a menu that brings together a bunch of Asian influences without feeling scattered. The food is creative and full of flavor, the atmosphere is comfortable, and it works really well for ordering several dishes and sharing. It’s nice having a restaurant this interesting up on Munjoy Hill and definitely worth checking out.
