We had a group family dinner tonite and they managed it so well.. Low key, family vibe. Love the PHL focus, brave in a town full of BOS fans. Great red sauce Italian food, nothing fancy, but well executed.

Came here the other day for the cheese steak and boy was I not disappointed! Definitely the best one ive ever had! Bartender was chill and the the place was exactly my kinda vibe. Will definitely be back again for that cheese steak and to try the pretzel garlic knots!
Great place to go before a show at the State Theatre. Bolognese was fantastic.

Benny's is a fantastic spot for dinner. The food is fantastic, some of the best Italian food I have had in the last 10 years! You have to try the pretzel garlic knots and the chicken parm was perfection. The staff are super accommodating and professional. If you are in Portland you have to stop and try!

Came here once before and my husband and I loved the food. This time after a long day - we did takeout and get home to see not even a full container of food. I would rather wait longer for them to make more and fill the container, over just giving me what was left.
We enjoy the food but for what we paid, expecting more. Pretty disappointed.
So if you are taking out - check your food before you leave.

Constantly refuses takeout orders. $20 for half a cheesesteak. As someone from Philadelphia this place is a disgrace

Had a great meal at bennys. We were surprised to see an eagles sports bar this far from pa, but it turned out the owner is from south philly. Small world but great pasta!

I think more cheesesteak options would work, I’m asking for sides to a cheese steak like lettuce, tomato, choice of cheese, optional onions? The bread was amazing, overall 6 out of 10

Great atmosphere and nice server. The 45-minute gap between apps and the main menu was unexpected. The food was average, reminiscent of glorified diner fare.

We are so happy we found Benny’s! It is old school Italian at its best! We had penne a la vodka, mozzarella sticks, a salad, drinks, and tiramisu- ALL were incredible! Outstanding drinks, great vibe, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in Portland!
Staff are delightful! They are so kind and welcoming you feel like you’re returning home for a meal, let alone a birthday surprise. We celebrated our son’s birthday and the girls brought over a cake with a candle! Loved the chopped salad and the gf pasta tasted like regular

A+ vegan cheesesteak
This is the premier Philly restaurant in Portland! Just opened May '25. We saw a Sunday October Eagles game, great friendly inclusive vibe. Excellent steak sandwich and elevated hoagies. A classic Italian eatery, must go
