Bite into Maine

Bite Into Maine was recommended to us while we were in Portland and it was the best recommendation received! We had a lobster roll flight (Maine, Connecticut, and Curry) and the lobster mac and cheese. It was the best food we ate the entire trip!

We traveled from Memphis to Maine and tried out several different highly recommended lobster roll spots. None could compare to Bite Into Maine, soooo good. The next time im in Maine I will def be coming back

Every time we drive up to main we make a stop at the Alagash brewery and have food from Bite Into Maine. A must-have activity. I don’t eat lobster, my wife loves their lobster rolls A LOT. I LOVE their pulled pork and potatoe salad and coleslaw. Super relaxing atmosphere.

Parking: Plenty of Free parking on site and around.

Kid-friendliness: Totally kid and pet friendly atmosphere, plenty of space for kiddos to run around. You can bring your pets in to the main area (not indoors.)

Bite into Maine has the best lobster roll I have ever had! It is worth any line you have to wait on! I had to get the Connecticut two days in a row because it wowed me that much! Truly delicious!

Wow. Great lobster rolls, great little spot at Allagash. This little food truck is serving 10/10 lobster rolls. I HAVE TO COME BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Dog friendly, we made a little pup friend. He was hiding from his owners and waggled into our spot! So cute have cute pups around, my favorite lobster roll was enjoyed by that sneaky Bougie pup.

Edit: These lobster rolls were better than "Luke's" or "High Roller", which were 2nd and 3rd respectively. I'm still dreaming about their lobster flight 3 weeks later. It might have been the Allagash beer complimenting the lobster roll, but these guys are BRILLIANT with this food truck at Allagash.

Ordered the lobster flight! Absolutely delicious, lobster was super tender. Best rolls I have had in a long time. The picnic was my favorite of the rolls. They mayo was very balanced and light in the roll. CT roll was also delicious. We ordered the pretzel, caprese sandwich, pulled pork, potato salad and grilled cheese. Everything we ordered was delicious!

Chicken basil was nicely prepared, but the chicken was much better when it fell out of my sandwich and I was able to eat it on its own. The bread was delicious as well, but again, it was only when I ran out of chicken to eat in the sandwich that it truly became a shining star. Potato salad for $3 is a good enough deal for the amount of food, but I felt it lacked something. Still good. Pretzel and cheese was delicious, but I wish the pretzel had been warmed.

You really cannot get a better lobster roll. the atmosphere of being right next to allagash with their lights and live music and then ordering from an old trailer is fantastic!

Then the lobster roll comes out and it’s phenomenal. We ordered 6 oz which of course is more expensive but soooo worth it! We had 3 large guys in our group and they didn’t feel hungry after eating this roll. Highly recommend trying a flight as well. I liked the mayo and chives for interesting flavors, the slaw/picnic one is a little too sweet with the slaw for me. Of course the original which they call Connecticut I believe is the best. Butter, some lemon, and a delicious toasted bun. You really can’t beat it.

The bun itself could have a whole review for how much it adds to the overall deliciousness of the lobster roll. We also got potato salad as a side which I would recommend. It’s made with real potatoes you can see wedges in the salad and is reasonably priced. A little on the sweet side instead of mustardy but still very good.

I would literally eat here everyday if I could! Alas I will resign myself to coming as often as I can!

Anytime you can pump out fresh lobster and other goodies at the speed they do, you know you’re doing something right. Lobster roll flight was insanely good.

Of all the lobster rolls in Maine, Bite Into Maine gives you the most real lobster

It's fresh, soft, and it's refreshing.
Many agree this is the best lobster roll.

They have other dishes as well like the lobster Mac and cheese, but there isn't as much lobster in there so I'd stick with the roll.

The Mac and cheese is delicious on it's own though. You don't need any lobster in there. It has a crumbled crust on top.
