Arriving here for an early dinner, there was free parking directly in front of the eatery. I walked in and was helped immediately. I asked for a recommendation between several diverse options for their lobster roll flight and took advantage. Outstanding. Opt for the larger portion for $8 more. I had the Maine, Connecticut, and Picnic. They will give you time for photo and video as well if you so choose to document this tasty dream coming true. I had my lobster roll flight in under 5 minutes. Everything was what you’d expect from an establishment that also ships on Goldbelly. Extremely clean, professional, sleek restaurant that offers take out and dine in. Smiles from behind the counter. If you’re looking for Maine lobster- this place will not let you down. Coming back! And, they ship on ice! Definitely yes to the the clam chowder, wicked simple and maine root, root beer! The mouthwatering lobster roll sampler was so good, we ordered another before leaving. Butter from the kettle, yes! No room for the whoopies, but people were ordering those, left and right!
We’ve tried 5 different places for the lobster roll and this is by far the best one with the best value! First of all you get to choose a trio mini roll with three different flavors so that you can try different flavors if you’re traveling alone. We had wasabi, Maine, and Connecticut. We love the wasabi one the best, the mayo is blended perfectly with the wasabi and the lobster is fresh and juicy! The other two were also great! The Blueberry soda was a great addition too.

The rolls were decently good, but not exceptional. The price was somewhat higher than other locations, but not egregious. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, but it's a safe bet if you want some rolls. Parking was simple and free and the biggest positive.

I tried 7 lobster places while in Maine and Bite Into Maine is the winner! I tried a Connecticut style lobster roll on the first day of the trip at Fort William and it was amazing. Fresh, tender, no shells and hot butter straight out of the kettle! Then I had at least 5 other lobster rolls, all of which were good. On the last day, we stopped by the Diamond St location and was their very first customer- they knew we were on our way to the airport so they were very quick and so friendly and helpful. I wondered if it would be as good as the first day having tried so many. It was actually better! Really looking at the lobster roll I realized it’s because they use claw and tail not a lot of stringy scraps of lobster. The bun is fresh, toasted and buttered! I again got the Connecticut - Which is cold lobster with hot butter poured over it. This is the freshest lobster I had throughout Maine, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick!
