Good cheap American-style Chinese food! First time ordering here since it became Blue Sky and we had a great cheap meal! We got two dinner special combos, came with soup, apps, and fried rice too. The total for both was less than $30 and we both got two meals out of it! What was really nice was the general Tso’s chicken - at many places the breading gets soggy after 20is minutes and the chicken gets all mushy. The batter they use here stays nice and crispy, even when I reheated the next day. The woman who greeted me and got me our order was incredibly nice and welcoming, the restaurant was spotless as well. We’ll be back soon!

I'm glad that I found a very good Chinese restaurant in the west end. They have a lot of menus to choose. They also have lunch specials and dinner specials where you can choose one appetizer and one main course. I had sesame beef with spring roll and pork fried rice. They are very delicious and also very affordable. Will come back again. You can also order online for pickup and they also do delivery with a small delivery Fees. The staffs are really nice and friendly.

Wow! We were blown away by this place! We went in with fairly low expectations on a recommendation from our hotel and someone we met on a plane. We were blown away! It was the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. The portions were large, they were full of flavor, and at a great price. We spoke with the owner who made us feel like family, and even gave us some extra stuff for free. She mentioned she makes special trips across the US to find the right ingredients to make it taste like truly authentic Chinese food. It just felt like home!

Nice relaxing place with great food at reasonable prices. The staff is the best! I could go to the place five minutes from me but I choose to drive the forty-five minutes. You just can't beat good food.

In from the other coast and wanted something that reminded us of home. We got some terrific food (orange chicken, king pao chicken, dumplings) and were impressed and enjoyed it immensely. The portions were huge, but so was the flavor!

I love Blue sky! They are my one of my favorite Chinese places in Portland. The only thing is I wish there was more food in the meal but otherwise its great! I love their egg drop soup is my favorite.

First time here. Since Imperial China by the mall closed I’ve tried a dozen other places trying to find a close new option. Today i gave Blue Sky a try to do a lunch option but she suggest the dinner one for just a bit more and I also wanted soup.

I had hot and sour soup, it was deep rich in flavor with lots of mushroom and tofu. Best in the area. The picked white rice (very well cooked even at 1:00 lunch time) crab Rangoon (seems house made and the filling had a nice flavor it plus they were very nicely cooked. The sesame chicken was covered in lots of sesame seeds the sauce had a great sesame flavor that was perfect and the chicken with the coating was perfect crispy and will cooked, crispy but not hard or overcooked. My only comment was the chicken had lots of coating but even that was moist and the cooking time was adjusted to make sure the coating was cooked right. Another place I tried had the same amount of coating but it was raw and doughy this was not so I almost did not mention that. I saw after I could have paid $1 for white meat chicken I wonder if that would gave had less coating but been cook as nicely. Overall good lunch, and two staff checked on on me a few times to make sure I was enjoying. I plan to return to try other dish’s.

Better than expected experience . I originally was going somewhere else, but they didn't have the lunch specials on Sunday, but Blue Sky did, and the #29 for $12.69 with tax there was a lot of good food. Two Crab Rangoon that actually tasted like Crab. The teriyaki chicken is also very good . Pork fried rice that had chucks of pork. Two chicken fingers hot fresh and delicious. It also comes with an egg roll that was ok . The hot mustard was hot and good. Also, they gave me some sweet and sour sauce that was unique and delicious. I definitely recommend Blue Sky.

I ordered a chicken with mixed vegetables, wonton soup and white rice. The meat in the wonton soup was severely overcooked to the point that I could barely bite through it. The chicken was a little overcooked, but the vegetables were basically raw. The flavor is barely present in both the soup and chx veggie meal. Was my first time visiting :(
