Boone's Fish House & Oyster Room

We were just visiting for the day and decided to pop in for an early dinner. We've been traveling with our two fur babies, Gracie the boxer and King the Boston. So, I'm actually writing this review for them since they don't have thumbs, and they both asked me to! Gracie and King had an amazing time, especially with their favorite server, Leticia. Oh my gosh, a huge bowl of ice water, pup cups, and more treats! These two were in heaven, not to mention all the belly and butt scratches and rubs. The food was tremendous, especially the mussels and oysters. Thanks to everyone for an amazing time and experience with our fur kids!

Sat upstairs with Ben and Isabelle a few days ago and can’t stop thinking about what a great experience I had. The two of them were so so sweet. Loved it all. The manager Dillon stopped by and chatted with us and was an absolute delight!

Liz was a terrific person to help us select oysters, shrimp, a Summer Salad with lobster, and my wife's stuffed Haddock. Add some on tap local draft, and the fact we could hear alive rock band coming from down the Pier, and all was good on a Sunday evening in Portland!

It was our first time in Portland and we chose Boone’s for our first meal. We had the fresh Haddock and it was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Our waitress, Saige, was an absolute delight and extremely attentive. Great experience!

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Boon’s Fish House and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We started with the mussels, and they completely stole the show. They were delicious, but the sauce was what really made the dish—the kind of sauce that makes you keep reaching for the bread because there’s no chance you’re leaving any of it behind.

We also had the stuffed lobster plate, which was excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for from a seafood dinner in Portland.

The service made the night even better. Liz took care of us, and she was an absolute delight—friendly, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience. Great food, fantastic service, and a wonderful night out together. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend Boon’s Fish House.

Boone’s Fish & Oyster House is a must-visit if you’re in Portland. The location right on the water is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere for a great meal. The chowder and popover were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

What truly sets Boone’s apart, though, is the manager, Brad. He is hardworking, honest, approachable, and leads with genuine professionalism. It’s clear that his top priority is making sure every guest has an exceptional experience, and that level of care is reflected throughout the restaurant.
