Great venue for a punk show. Perfect dive bar. Park at the meinike up the road and you won't get towed apparently

A friendly place with tons of character. The building is unique, has a lot of history and features artwork celebrating many of the customers who have been there over the years. I just started going there recently and always feel welcome and treated like family. The drinks are super affordable, the ice cream shots are worth making a trip for! The patio is a nice feature, I had fun playing cornhole on my most recent visit. They frequently have pool tournaments and also have karaoke a couple nights a week.

karaoke Wednesday and Thursday nights. Very chill people to hang around with, my favorite place in town to have some beers!

The brass rail is the place to go if you’re looking for a dive bar in Portland, Melissa is the best bar tender I’ve ever encountered!! Cheap drinks and there is always someone to play pool with! I’ll definitely be back

I celebrated my 21st birthday here. I will celebrate my 48th frank the owner, Shelly, his daughter, Stevie, Bob, and Rhonda….. these people were like family to me. I can’t wait to see you in just a couple days.

Everytime I have gone to the Rail it was amazing.... except when Liz is working. Got shut off for passing her a mcchicken wrapper. After 2 drinks.

I love this place until I came tonight and there was someone working named Liz, she cut me off after 3 beers. This bar would be a lot better off without her.

Great little bar! Group of nice mellow folks. I always have a good time there, not hectic & rowdy like the old port tends to get! Nice place to go for a few drinks, music & playing a few rounds of pool!
