9 Best Bubble Tea near Portland

“My friend and I drove a little over an hour to see if the 5 stars was really as amazing as it seemed, it was 5 stars and more, my friend basically chugged hers and finished when I got mine, so we ended up buying two more with the red bean buns, which were so amazing and worth every moment driving. My friend got the bubble milk tea with tapioca twice and I got the strawberry and the taro milk teas both with boba and they were amazing, I'll definitely be dragging all my friends here!!!“

“Awesome bubble tea shop that stands out from the other spots in Portland because of its innovative menu items named after and inspired by the ocean. The zephyr with osmanthus and brown sugar was incredible. The mushroom latte was also outstanding as a caffeine-free option. The space is also really comfortable with abundant seating and charming touches like a bookshelf and board games.“

“We went here around lunch hours to get some drinks. There was no customer at the store. Alongside boba teas, they had some small snacks and bites in the menu. There were some spots to sit in at the store too.

We ordered a thai tea, milk tea and mango slush. They had the first two in shaken style meaning small bits of ice. The barista took some time to make the drinks, seemed not so proficient in making them. But the drinks turned out okay. The that tea had good flavor. Mango slush was tasty initially but got really watery at the end. Bobas were fine, not as good quality as I had in other places. Overall a decent place since its the only bobas store we saw in the area.“

“Service was prompt and excellent. The nigiri sushi was some of the best I’ve had in this country. The tempera was exceptional, very light batter and fresh out of the pot. If the traditional grated daikon and ginger had been served with the tempera dipping sauce it would have been as good as any tempera in Japan.“

“This place is amazing!! I ordered on the Toast app and I wanted to take the boba home to my boyfriend since he wasn’t with me so I called and asked if I could get the drinks with no ice, the woman who answered the phone was sooo nice and very politely explained that the drink needed a little bit of ice so the drink could be shaken up well. I love this place it is the main reason I love going to the Maine mall! Everyone was super nice when I picked up the drinks:)! The boba is always amazing as well, I normally get strawberry tea with mango and strawberry boba it’s AMAZING. I always order on toast and my order is never wrong, always perfect!! If you order ahead on toast while you’re shopping in the mall, you can keep shopping until it’s ready which is so convenient! They also gave me a bag to carry the two drinks I got which was so perfect!!“

“I stopped here instead of Starbucks, which in the same plaza, because they had a patio and I was looking for a spot to take a video call. They have a wide selection of coffee, pastries and light bites. I picked a very unassuming bacon, Swiss & spinach egg bite which looked a little crispy on the outside but surprisingly was moist & buttery on the inside. Think quiche but without the crust. I paired that with a Colombian coffee—it’s nice that they give you an option of roasts—which was piping hot but delicious. Perfect spot to stop for a treat, catch up with a friends, or do some light laptop work.“
