Had reservations for two Sunday night. That morning they emailed me to reconfirm my reservation (which I did)) for that night. When I showed up to the restaurant it was closed...lights off, chairs on tables no sign on the door. I tried calling that night and the next day and the phone went to an automated message that just repeated the phone number. I assume the restaurant is no longer in business. No one from either the restaurant or open table has reached out to me regarding this matter despite my trying to reach out to them.

Absolutely amazing experience. Our server was very kind and so helpful, suggesting drinks when I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The food could not have been any more delicious. The arepas were incredible. It definitely seems like a small family-run place. Nothing better than supporting that!

Great Atmosphere and cocktails. We are returning for dinner as the appetizers were amazing. Rene, the owner really knows what he's doing here. We'll be returning whenever we are in town - Abby & Chris from Ann's Book

First of all, this may be the cutest restaurant in Portland (it's pretty tiny). But they did a bang up job with the decor: cool but inviting/charming. Second, our server/bartender not only mixed us up the best Sidecars, he was incredibly nice and attentive (but, just the right amount). Finally, the food was delicious and well-presented. Exactly what we were looking for: unique, delicious, not stuffy but not super trendy, just a delightful spot. Will say, possibly my new fav spot. Can't wait to go back and try hanging out at the bar for cocktails.

Great ambience. Small, cozy and intimate. Seats about 22-25. Carla our server was wonderful-so friendly and efficient. Drinks were great. Food was fresh and oh so tasty. We had tacos and the Dominican rice with pork. Family operation. Son tends bar and takes care of the front of the house Mama cooks. We were traveling and quite frankly stopped here because we couldn't get reservations at some of the better known places in Portland. Lucky us! Loved it!

What a nice surprise! We were waiting for our table at a restaurant nearby and stopped in at Cabana for a cocktail. The vibes inside were intimate and fun, with neon and flamingo colors throughout. The menu was varied in terms of drinks, and the food looked great although we didn't try any. Service was fast and congenial, and the drinks we received were tasty. Would come back!

The owner/responsible is a person who cannot take responsibility for their actions and treat their delivery people with indecency. Your time is as valuable as anyone else, even if they’re “just a delivery person”. They were not available to receive their delivery but somehow blamed it on the delivery person: “someone who does not respect those who are below them is NOT a good person”

I ordered the Dominican Fried Rice, my wife ordered the Arepa dish. Both dishes were delicious. The service was impeccable. Well Done! Highly recommended this restaurant when in Portland.

Vegetarian options: The Dominican Rice was prepared vegetarian.

I ordered the Dominican Rice with fried Plantains. My wife order the Arepas. Both dishes were delicious. We paired our meal with a 2020 Bring it on red blend. I highly recommend this restaurant when in the Portland area.

Unique tasty food, perfect music, friendly staff…everything good about a Friday night meal. Small cozy fun place.

Wonderful dinner! We had the street corn and the mofongo. Only negative is they undersold us and convinced my husband and I to share an appetizer and main. The portions were for 1.5 not 2 people in our opinions. The bonus was it left us a little room for a dessert- chocolate almond amaretto cake- and it was amazing. I will be back to try their other dishes.

Cute atmosphere with a variety of cocktails. Mine was a bit watered down but I did love all the elegant glassware. It is an Intimate setting. The Dominican inspired dishes were good and flavorful. Some of the dishes were were heavy on rice/vegis and a bit skimpy on the meat. Unfortunately the small space was overwhelmed by a very large party at the time we were there.. The noise level was very uncomfortable as a result,, so we left rather than linger.. I am not sure I would go back.
