Stopped into Cellardoor Winery this weekend on a whim and split a wine tasting with my boyfriend. I absolutely loved the wine, so we ended up taking home a case of their Merlot. Leaving this review because I’m drinking it now and it’s SO GOOD! I’ll be making a trip back to Portland for more once I run out. This is a must try spot!

First time wine tasting and trying wines made in Maine. I found Cellardoor Winery via Yelp. My husband and I decided to give it a try. The service was great! Emily eagerly explained their wine and grape process. Has extensive knowledge on the wines the winery sells and has a keen ear and eye for the ambience and music to help evolve the experience while at the winery. The wines are pleasantly good! I walked away buying a few. I tried two of the wine flights; one red and the other was a mixture of whites and reds. Their Rose was very good! And I am not the biggest fan of Rose. Great experience and we will be back. I'm thinking that I can bring my mom and mother in law back sometime when they are visiting from California.

Very impressed by the 2 red wines they produce, that we tried. Well made & balanced. Presented at a reasonable point in a nice atmosphere. They have a handful of both red and white. They also offer bubbly! And they offered a (small) range of meats, cheeses (and chocolate truffles). And swag.

Very tasty wines and a wide variety to choose from. My wife's favorite was the Bulles Rose' which was a quite delightful dry Brut style sparkling wine. I enjoyed several of the reds, but found the Aurora and Monti al Mare to be my favorites. A very cool vibe and spectacular interior.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was treated very well. It was worth my time making a reservation in advance.
I recently had my daughters bridal shower at the Cellardoor in Portland and would highly recommend this venue. Caroline is an excellent contact and was so helpful during the entire process. Great venue, food & wine and service! Thank you!

A wonderful little wine bar and shop offering tastings of local wines as well as cheeses and snacks. It was the perfect place to stop for a break and get some local flavor.

Great location, and close to everything. Large spacious area and would be perfect for a birthday or bachelorette wine tasting. We got a wine flight, and the wine is okay not my favorite. I would come back for the atmosphere.

Sat up front and daydreamed looking out the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. Beautiful building. Caroline was lovely and I recommend the Buoy white! Light & fresh.
