I will visit every single time I’m in Portland. I’m obsessed with these fries. My only “complaint” is how small the sitting area is. Y’all need to/deserve to expand!

These delightful frites were even better than one I had in Belgium. Oh, and don’t pass on the donut holes - they were divine.

Walk-up version of Duck Fat. Came for the mainstay (Belgian frites) and wasn't disappointed. Part of the appeal is trying the different sauces, and their mayo is a great option. Came in April and didn't see a line in the afternoon. They're limited outdoor seating

Honestly kind of disappointed about the poutine. I’m from Quebec, and the poutine wasn’t really authentic, it was more just jumble of fries with cheese and duck fat sauce.
The fries by themselves were good! :)

For just fries, sauces and dessert this place kills it. The fries are amazing solo but even better with garlic mayo or truffle ketchup. I could drink that stuff and never get sick of it. Hers a brewery next door they share the space with.

You can’t make bad decisions except for ordering too many tasty things. Great food and super friendly and helpful service.
Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to peanuts and they have none!

Disappointed to hear that they use a blend of seed oil (vegetable/canola) and duck fat in the fryers. Seems misleading, didn't see it anywhere on the menu.
Second time my girlfriend and I visited Portland .
We’ve eaten so much great food
The shack is next to oxbow brewery ( a plus) and it was a nice day
Out of all the food I had this was the winner! The fries have perfect crisp and seasoning. Peri peri wings were a huge A+ wish I had this in my neck of

Grabbed takeaway poutine and a blueberry buttermilk milkshake.
Shake was *insane* ???
Poutine was a bit of a bummer 10 minutes after pickup...fries were a soggy mess (even though the gravy was packaged separately) and the curds were melted together into an impenetrable fortress of sheet cheese :( - still great flavour, bit otherwise a letdown.
Duckfat and the Frites Shack has always been superhigh on my Portland Vacation To Do Agenda - i'm looking forward to revisiting on another vacation for a poutine mulligan and to try more of the menu.
High hopes remain!

Over priced and over hyped, brisket sandwich was way too small for the price, fries were good, but they're fries

Usually love Duckfat but was super disappointed when we got takeout at this location and got home to see we didn’t have any gravy on our poutine.
