We got the nachos, chicken tamales, plantains, and pupusas. The tamales and plantains were great (4/5), but the nachos tasted like they had been washed with laundry detergent and the flavor profile aside from that was nothing special (1/5). They also forgot to add the pupusas to our takeout bag, which we didn’t realize until we had already commuted home, so we were charged an extra $9 for nothing. The waiter/cashier took note of the pupusas and it’s on the receipt and order tag on the takeout bag, but somewhere along the service line it was taken out or forgotten.

Best pupusas and burrito I've ever had. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Never would have expected to find authentic Salvadorian food here, but so glad it exists.

Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered a burrito and a plate from this restaurant, and I paid extra for chicken to be added to my plate. When I got home (after driving an hour), I realized the chicken was missing. I went back to the restaurant—another hour drive—to ask for either a refund or for them to remake the plate correctly. The woman that owns the restaurant refused to do either. Instead of taking accountability, she got angry at me for not returning the food “right away,” even though I explained I had to drive an hour each way.
To make things worse, she called the police on me and had me trespassed from the property—just for calmly asking for what I paid for. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service, no accountability, and they clearly don’t care about their customers.

Such a lovely experience and pick me up after a crazy day. My hats off to the chefs and workers here. The service is impeccable, the food flavorful, and quick service as well. This is a hidden gem I'm so happy is near to the hospital nearby.
Would definitely recommend the steak burrito and fried plantain, as well as the flores drink. One of the best burritos I've had! And that's coming from a New York native and recent Boston transplant.

Tried this restaurant for first time the other night (doordash delivery) and really enjoyed the steak burrito. Good size, nice flavor. I ordered pick up the following day, excited for another burrito. I placed order directly through restaurant website this time, intentional with location pick up as I recognize there are two locations on Congress. I go to pick up and am told they don’t have my order. I drive to other location as they suggested, no problem. After checking in with the bartender re: my order, I am told they also don’t have order. As someone who works in the industry, I’m happy to be flexible, patient, and understand technology errors happen. Interaction with staff at both locations was frustrating and not helpful. An unusual amount of confusion when I said my order was placed through their website (opposed to 3rd party) as if they had never heard of that before and no resolution offered.

I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent, you can tell they put love into it, and the prices are really good.
I got a chicken and pork pupusa. They were very flavorful, and with the flavor of the salad and sauce that comes with it, it was out of this world.

I do not typically leave bad reviews but last night what I got was worth the effort. Empanada was gluey and gross, pupusas with pork just smelled… off. Even rice and beans couldn’t be done right. Rice undercooked as heck. I don’t have a lot of trust in a place that can’t even make rice. I’m sorry but that’s not cool. Maybe back of house was just having a bad day, but good lort.. I am putting two stars because I believe it was just a one off, not a whole failure.

Found this little spot and it was AWESOME! The breakfast bread thing was delicious ( warm and soft with a little sweet). The pupusa was out of this world. Hot with lots of cheese. My rice and bean with grilled chicken was great and the salad had this dressing that was very good. Fernando at the counter was friendly and helpful while the service was fast . You could easily miss this gem (see pic of outside) but it is worth the find😎

First time in, got the chicken torta to go. Service was friendly and quick and the sandwich was really nicely done. I enjoyed it and will be back to try other items, for sure.

The restaurant is small only a few tables which lends itself to the homey feel of the place. Felt like my own family was in the back making food for me and I'm not El Salvadorian. My elementary school age daughter and I both loved the empanadas, pupusas, plantains, flan, and the nachos we got. If you like El Salvadorian food, or Hispanic food in general, or even if you just want to try something new, I would give this little place a try
