Everything was perfect, as always! From the minute we arrived to the moment we left! The service and food were excellent! Probably my favorite restaurant in Portland.

The ambiance and the food were amazing. The service could have been better, but I recognize they were slammed on a Saturday night. We had a reservation and still had to wait 25min for our table, however, there is a very nice full service bar/lounge area to wait so it wasn't a deal breaker. The food was incredible and by far one of the best meals we've had in a while. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service in a rustic atmosphere. We were at a table for two that was VERY tightly placed between two other tables to the point where it was challenging to get in and out of the chairs without hitting the next patron's chair.

First time in Portland and this was our favorite restaurant. The Wood Grilled Moulard Foie Gras and Turnspit Roasted Dry Rubbed Pork Loin were amazing and the Turnspit Roasted Marinated Half Chicken was the best chicken I've ever had. Our server was really attentive, friendly, and provided great recommendations.

I had super high hopes for this one. Not totally disappointed but also not eagerly running back for another reservation either. The hanger steak was admittedly delicious and service was top notch. I had fabulous company and we enjoyed our time but at the end of the day it comes down to the food right? Our appetizers fell a little short in flavor and we all agreed we should’ve just skipped the dessert all together. So the entree (the important piece) was great but for the price we were hoping we could’ve said that for the entirety of the meal.

As always Fore St. doesn’t disappoint. My wife and I drive up from Mass every few months to have dinner here because we love it so much. We had Alec as our waiter he was great and had some good recommendations and we got the special which was perfect.

Service, our server, was Outstanding. She was professional in her service. She checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere was very good, love the decor, bick walls, gas pipes and open kitchen concept. The food was not bad by any means. It just didn't have the "Wow" factor I was expecting. I've heard folks say, "Best food I've ever eaten." Add to the fact 3 months for a reservation, I expected more. Overall, I felt it was average, ok but " Nothing to write home about." Keep in mind this is just my opinion. The price wasn't bad, the food wasn't terrible, the service was great. If you want to give it a try, do so.
Wow! Excellent environment and outstanding fare! Love the local options and staff was incredible. Shifted from bar waiting area to dining room in a really fast period of time seamlessly as a walk in. Highly recommend!

Dined tonight and ordered the strip steak special for $55. Our waiter indicated it was a little fatty so i thought fat may be a good thing. I would say the steak was atleast 40% fat. I fought myself to eat what i could and mentioned to the waiter he was right it was fatty. He said he prefers a ribeye steak at Roadhouse. As I departed the restarant
