Service and ambience were excellent, but the food here is AVERAGE! \n\nSkate Wing entree tasted like the chef dumped a tablespoon of salt on top. I was flabbergasted. Other dishes were fine, nothing to write home about. \n\nIt felt like the kitchen was resting on its laurels. We had an exceptional and unique charcuterie board. I loved the foie gras—a generous portion that just melted in my mouth. The pork belly was good, and the tongue was excellent and tender. We also ordered the potatoes in pork fat, which were good but fatty. The dessert, the butter scotch tart was decadent. In sum, every dish we ordered was excellent. Service was excellent.
Vibe is absolutely the best. Food and service was phenomenal and we were pleasantly surprised at the final bill. Always a must stop for me when I visit Portland. Can't wait to come back!
