The food is fresh, innovative and delicious. Scallops were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The haddock was perfectly prepared and worth licking the plate clean. Fresh local food prepared uniquely!
We arrived with out of state friends for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We'd booked this night 2 months prior as they had heard about Fore Street and wanted to try it. No one was disappointed in anything from our drinks to our entrees. The food, service, and overall ambiance were outstanding. We had oysters, elk kielbasa, calamari, and venison golumpki as our apps. All were delicious. The entrees were skate, crabbed stuffed haddock, and chicken. No complaints on anything....
Very nice presentation. Very noisy energetic atmosphere. Great bread from the bakery downstairs. And the food is very creative and delicious. I try to eat here whenever I am in Portland.
