Three of us had lunch together and we all ordered chowder. I also ordered a clam cake. The clam chowder was very thick and was good, but dark, as if the cream had cooked too long. It just wasn’t great- nothing to write home about. The fish chowder however was a bit bland. The clam cake had a nice crunch and was of good size, but mostly bread with few chunks of clams. A little past 1PM but found several empty tables. Sat outside on the partial deck near the waterfront but not much of a scenery. The lobster roll and clam chowder were very good. The bacon-lobster-tomato (BLT) sandwich (roll) was a new one for me but tasty, as was the fish plate (tender haddock). Checked both sides of the street and this was the most intriguing for local cuisine. Ate Clam Chowder and shared fried clams and fried calamari. Alcoholic beverages met our tastes. Loved the food!! Personnel were terrific!!! Ate outside and we were able to move near a heater before ordering as there was a chill in the air.
