The fellow with the big gauges was very attentive to our table, gave great drink suggestions and mixed a wicked good Mexican coffee. The grilled pineapple margarita was so good. All our food was delicious! The mushroom taco was seasoned perfectly, shrimp tacos, Yumm! We look forward to coming back soon!

Had a fantastic dinner here. The atmosphere is warm and beautifully lit in sunset shades. Very comfortable, funky vibe unlike anywhere else in Portland. The food was amazing. The homemade salsas are so fresh and really tasted of Mexico. The drinks were perfect. The margaritas and sangria were delicious. The staff were helpful and gracious. Cannot wait to go back for more!

Came on a quiet Monday evening at 4pm to take advantage of their happy hour with it, remarkable 20% off everything on the menu between 3 and 5 PM. I had the mushroom and chicken tacos, which were fine and the chicken wings which were excellent. And this wings portion was generous. The service was disappointing. I was one of only two customers—alone for first for 30-minutes with at least two service people on the floor. I was given a lunch menu instead of dinner menu, and largely neglected and looking for service while I seeing my bartender across the restaurant on her phone or chatting with her friends. Finally, I was handed a bill that did not Include the 20% off happy hour discount. When I brought that to my servers attention, there was no apology.

Only giving it 4 stars, because I've never been in a mexican restaurant that doesn't give chips

The customer service was terrible and the restaurant was not busy. We didn’t get anyone to ask us if we needed any drinks or chips or food.

Wasn't sure to sit or wait as the owner walked by us. I grabbed plastic spoons because there was no greeting. We ordered are food my tomatoes couldn't fit in the taco huge slices no dipping sauce . The jalapenos were local and way to hot to be used. I like heat but not fire. My partners meal was soggy nachos. The coffee in my tea cup was good there was no one in the building I felt like a burden than a guest the other person nodded as I said thank you. The owner bringing are food in winter boots untied felt awkward.. Really sad this place won't be around next year. To big to carry the expensive overhead with all they should've done.. Really winter boot service... Says where they are and that shows in everyone's appearance working there. Why not add some salsa to the plate or cilantro w lime even a scoop of cream.. Good luck I really wanted to enjoy.

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night and loved it. Staff was super nice, especially the waitress who took care of us. I loved the baja fish tacos (was so sad when I left my extra taco at the restaurant by accident 😂), the corn appetizer was really good, we also ordered the hot chicken torta and it’s a pretty decent size, also pretty good. They have mocktails which I really appreciated and we also tried the Mexican Apple soda. Overall, really recommend this place. Food is fresh and worth it!

Greatest Ever

We had an amazing time at this restaurant! The wait staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and were very attentive. The food was amazing. The chips and queso were so good that we debated ordering more. The chips taste homemade. They're thick and salty and perfectly suited for scooping up salsa and queso. The drinks were all unique and delicious. However, the tacos are the stars of the show. You MUST try the avocado taco. I know there's no meat (my bf couldn't fathom a taco w/o meat), but I promise you will be delightfully surprised. It was my favorite of the night. The fish taco was also amazing with fish that tasted like it was pulled out of the water 10 minutes before. So fresh. This restaurant was a nice change of pace from the lobster mania that is Portland!
