My favorite local bar. The music is always great, the industry vibe is perfect, the Greek salad and curly fries are chefs kiss. Also 20oz Utica Club for $5??? Cmon man. ♥️

Great bar! Came after dining just for a drink on a Sunday night. Looking for a chilled vibe and found it. Gordon was a friendly host and .we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Far better than a stuffy hotel bar.

One of our favorite places, nice laid back atmosphere with couches & bookcases, reasonably priced beers, and located at the entrance to Portland’s wonderful West End. They serve a great Beyond burger, as well as a black bean burger. They also have a number of other nice options including vegan cheese pizzas, chili, and chili cheese fries!

Small list of offerings, but it’s just bar food so you can’t expect much. If you find something you want, it’s all pretty good. I love all the plants and the look of the interior. The service was quite abysmal though. We saw our server 3 times, and we’re waiting for very long to get our check to leave that we almost tried to leave cash and dip, but we had no clue what it would cost and we all work as servers so we felt too bad to risk walking out on any part of the bill.

The place looked friendly and welcoming so I went in for a beer with my wife. We sat at the bar. The two male bartenders did not greet us. There was awkwardness all around. I'm not sure how they both managed to make us feel so uncomfortable, but they did. Ordered a beer and my wife said “I have to get away from this negativity”, so we moved to a couch. We are both former restaurant people, where we met, and cannot comprehend how these two guys can’t be friendly at their jobs where they are supposed to be friendly and helpful. They never said a word to us. Won’t go back and recommend others avoid it.

punky aesthetic spot with stellar music and vibes. the bartenders were as yummy as the drinks we ordered. people who poorly reviewed this place have obviously not had much experience going to laid-back bars for bevvys. just wait your turn. the bar staff will get to you when they can.

Walked in the door and was never greeted, so we decided to take a seat at the bar. There were two bartenders and already know what we would like. Pull out our IDs, and feel unwelcome and sense hostility.Easiest order ever: Shot and a beer. The bartenders complained about how slow it was, were on their phones, and sat on the counter, even though we were looking to order more, along with other patrons.A regular was more friendly and inviting than the establishment and its employees. We sat in silence because of the uncomfortable atmosphere created through lack of conversation and acknowledgment. I’ve never felt so bad for just existing.Will not be returning.
