Got the potatoes, morning bun, and ricotta toast for the table. The potatoes and morning bun were really great, but the ricotta toast had no flavor to it. The blueberries weren't sweet and it made the toast very bland. Also got the egg and lobster sandwich and shakshuka to share with a friend. The egg and lobster sandwich was really good. With all the appetizers to share, this was more than enough food. The shakshuka was extremely disappointing. It was mostly runny and full of onions. The egg was runny too so the whole dish kinda flopped. However, I would still go back for other dishes, especially the egg and lobster sandwich.

Visiting Portland. The menu (which changes daily) was inaccurate. The service was rushed. The food was um - not good. Odd flavors across the board, food and drinks. Seems like the chef was trying too hard to be creative.

good brunch outside! our whole table got shakshuka, which wasn't as tomato-y and saucy as i'm used to, more onions/yellow peppers. potatoes were good, bloody marys were good.

"Little Giant" perhaps lives up to its name. Let me start off by saying that the food is really quite good. Apart from a Burrata that was incredibly underwhelming, everything else we ordered was quite delicious. What detracted from the experience for us was uneven service, and a bit of a pretentious, dare I even say sanctimonious hipster vibe. All of that said, whomever is back in the kitchen definitely knows what they are doing.

I had a splendid birthday meal at Little Giant! The presentation of the food was beautiful - not to mention the flavor! Everything from the beets, to the scallops, to the steak melted in your mouth. They also had a fun and diverse wine selection that gave me a little bit of decision paralysis. Thankfully our friendly waitress and the knowledgeable bartender helped us decide. I will hopefully be coming back soon for the next special occasion!!

The drinks were unique and extremely tasty. We had several and I don't recall the names. One was a tequila old fashioned and the other was deliciously spicy. We had the scallop ceviche and crab with black rice and lemongrass. Delightful. The staff was very helpful and kind. The only downside was there was a very loud table of eight and the sound voiced everywhere. It made it hard to have a quiet conversation at times.

Really enjoyed our meal. The sour dough bread with a side of olive oil, balsamic and garlic appetizer was just okay, while the beet salad appetizer was very good. The oil poached halibut over a buttermilk sauce was delicious.

Brunch was good. Good coffee. Masa pancakes tasty. Shakshouka had lots of onions and peppers, but I like that. Serrano salad was fresh and delicious! Only downside was scrambled eggs--watery. This place is very covid conscious and respectful.

Wonderful to have such a lovely place open during covid with all safety precautions in place. Loved that we felt comfortable. Ambiance is awesome. The neighborhood feel of the place was so cool considering most good food in Portland is surrounded by tons of tourists and impossible parking. The food exceeded expectations. Absolutely everything we ate was beyond our expectations. Can't speak highly enough about our food experience. We are low carb and there was almost nothing on the menu that we couldn't eat (other than the bread:) I almost never write reviews. I wanted to be sure I did today because this place is certainly little but it's culinary experience is giant ?

We really loved some items (e.g., the beets, the tomatoes, the green salad) and the service was great. A few items weren't amazing (the black rice, the grilled prawn), but were still interesting. The music was too loud and house-y, though. It put a big damper on our experience. Some mellow jazz would have been great! Mostly, we were happy about the vaccine requirement and wanted to support, but I don't think we'll be back anytime soon when there are so many great choices in Portland.

Pre-covid menus were more extensive. The brunch menu is limited, no substitutions. I would have preferred a lunch menu with more choices. Having said that, I enjoyed my lobster egg sandwich and bloody mary.

Outstanding food, unusual and delicious cocktails, setting, aesthetic and ambience makes me want all my foodie friends to enjoy the great experience this was. Wish I could dine here on a regular basis. A real treat.

There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with this place. They feel very at home, safely nestled into Portland's upscale restaurant scene, with the $$$ to prove it. But here's the thing - their food is just OK. Underwhelming is the word that kept coming to mind. Again - it's not bad. It's even good by most standards. But in a city this abundant with incredible food, some of it served for cheap off a food truck, Little Giant seems to tragically live up to its name: a restaurant you want to cheer for, with a clear desire to stand among the Giants of the Portland restaurant scene, but who comes up a Little short.

Eclectic restaurant with interesting and delicious food and great service. We got reservations there because of the restaurants by the water we’re all booked and we’re glad we went there. We enjoyed scallop chervicie and barbecued outstretched. We enjoyed the Signature dish me with black rice and a unique and tender halibut prepared so that the dish complimented the subtle taste of halibut.

We had been living in the area for a while waiting to come. We were given fast, friendly, accommodating service. Our server Amy attended to us so well and we would highly recommend her! This small neighborhood treasure shines above the most prestigious restaurants in the heart of the old port. Its menu is more authentic and creative and you can tell in each bite, there is a bit of love put in from a kitchen that is taken care of fully. We will be returning.
