This is a great date night establishment! Cozy yet good music vibing. The wagyu egg rolls are a must. Also the Pork Wonton in Chili Oil is an awesome choice! Staff was very pleasant. The bartenders do an amazing job!

The moment I walked in I was blown away. The lighting, music, decor and welcoming greeting from the hostess were all literally perfect. It got better. My waiter Stefan was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The food and custom drinks were to die for. The amount of noises I made as soon as something tickled my taste buds was over the top. For any occasion I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10. I’ll be back every opportunity I can!!!

Not only did they manage to accommodate for my birthday, but this place has everything and always has. I have been coming here from New Hampshire since their opening weekend, intrigued by the concept and the decor alone. This staff will work double if not triple time to make sure that you have everything that you can for the meal of your dreams, no matter the occasion. I was presented with a candle in my dessert for my birthday, recommended and sampled beautiful dishes by waitstaff alone, and always treated with hospitality unlike any other dining experience I have ever had. Their cocktails recently won an award for Imbibe, and the hype is worth all of its salt. The dim sum entrees are decadent, flavorful, and creative. This menu was clearly painstakingly crafted, and those who serve it honor the idea with recommendations for sauces and for their own personal favorites. My girlfriend and I have made a 2 hour drive twice in the last two months, for Valentine’s Day and for my birthday, and they always honor us and always are so prompt with service, seating, recs, and everything else you could ever hope for. This restaurant has single handedly changed my standards for what I find to be a pleasurable dining experience and for the food that I eat on a daily basis. From day 1, they have been so committed to this vision of flavor they produce. Any negative reviews I can’t imagine have any class or foresight on how a true meal and waitstaff should be. These people are hardworking, and they CARE. Stefan has been my waiter since day 1 and he deserves so much special praise for all he’s done to make our experiences beyond fantastically special. I seldom write reviews, especially those of high praise, but believe me when I tell you that coming here is not just worth your time, but I feel sorely bad for you if you miss this opportunity to dine like a true believer in culinary arts. There is nothing but high praise and love in my heart for lucky cheetah, this restaurant is spectacular in everything it has done, and everything I am so certain it will stay committed to. It is worth the time to make yourself a reservation, and to sample as much diversity that you can from this incredibly crafted menu. Thank you lucky cheetah for all you do for us❤️

Service was spectacular, very attentive. Atmosphere unmatched. Food could have been better for the pricing but the idea is there. We will be back to try more things!

I cannot say enough positive things about Lucky Cheetah!!! It has quickly become my husband and I’s favorite spot in Portland due to the incredible service, atmosphere, food, and cocktails. We recently hosted a work dinner party here and it was fabulous! Ana and Carolyn were fantastic to work with coordinating the party details. Stefan is a fantastic server who has waited on us many times and always has great recommendations! I highly recommend this spot for any occasion!!!

Gorgeous interior! It’s a super swanky, cool vibe that made for a perfect Valentine’s day date night! Drinks are delicious and our waiter and the staff were wonderful! You’ll want to try everything but I’d certainly recommend 4-5 small plates between two people being plenty if you want room for dessert. We enjoyed all our food but the dessert (coffee ice cream with chocolate ganache) was delicious.

Awesome dining experience. The atmosphere is very NYC swank - great design, colors and down to the details with unique glassware. The food and service was outstanding! Looking forward to going back.

The atmosphere reminded me of those kitschy vegas restaurants that target people making them think they’re wealthy and charging $1500 a tomahawk.
The food was insanely disappointing, the best things were the brussel sprouts. The drinks were overpriced and mediocre. Their “duck sauce” oddly resembles mott’s applesauce. It’s a very instsgramable spot which is probably the goal of the owners but I would avoid if you want a good meal.

The service saved this place, otherwise it’s barely a one star. Wife and I went tapas style and nothing was good. Soup dumplings had negative flavor, scallion pancakes felt like I was eating Plato with scattered scallion. My last small plate was a beef bao plate that was entirely underwhelming. My wife really wanted a tofu dish she had previously had there that was no longer on the menu, which I get, places change their menu all the time, but it was one of the few low carb options available. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience great, but if the being honest, the food was terrible

Favorite restaurant in portland - the food is incredible and the restaurant is stunning! 10/10 recommend.
Take your date here! Speakeasy vibe, lovely lighting, eccentric wallpaper. The kitchen is fast and excellent, we would know, we got almost everything on the menu between the 5 of us. Char Siu Buns are aces, the fois gras was unfairly delicious. Desserts are all great. Will return!
Vegetarian options: All small plates, Tofu dish, corn dish, mushroom dumplings, cucumber appetizer.
