Our meal was excellent! We had a Gyro and the Loukaniko Ragu over polenta which was to die for! Greek salad was also good and I had the Leto cocktail also yummy. We'll be back!!
Excellent. Only had a issue..asked for more pita bread and was charged $3. This was nickel dime and was surprised based on the ambiance and service.
Nice place but it was very very loud and difficult to have a conversation with my dining partner.
Amazing food, service and ambience, a must go to for any foodie. Was amazed at how great it was!
The appetizer was very good. The gyro was basically a cold yogurt sandwich garnished with meat and some lettuce. The pita bread is quality. The service was lackluster. The server brought the wrong drink, never stopped back at the table (even though four feet away having a full on conversation with coworkers) to check in and see if we wanted another round of drinks or anything else. A different server finally came by and asked but we were over it. There are other intriguing things on the menu, but probably will be a while before we go back if at all.
First time at Magissa and it did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere, wait staff was friendly and explained the drinks menu providing a taste of a wine we weren't sure of. Food was very good with a variety of dishes and sizes.
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Magissa before a show. The restaurant had just changed its drink menu to reflect more fall and winter flavors. I had the mulled wine which was so delicious and cozy. The service was very prompt and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
Really enjoyed dinner at Magissa. Definitely a local place with relaxed and friendly vibe. Lamb gyro was delicious but the seared halloumi was alone worth making the trip. Will be back!

We had such a great dinner here the food was excellent. It's a beautiful place and great service. Definitely would recommend if visiting Portland.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Wonderful appetizers. A bit noisy making conversation difficult at times. Best moussaka ever.

Loved Magissa! Food was so fresh and delicious. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Definitely give it a visit!
Everything was delicious and great service! The moussaka was quite dry however, would not recommend this dish in particular. Great experience overall.
Magissa was absolutely lovely! The food was so fresh and delicious. It felt like a true food experience. Our waiter was super helpful (we had no less than 47 questions about wine) and he was fun and kind. The atmosphere was also wonderful. Not loud at all and comfortable seating. I'll definitely be back!
I love this little Greek gem. The wait staff were very helpful and kept a good eye on our needs. Their specialty cocktails were great- especially their riffs on the Aviation and Margarita. We ordered “family style” and shared apps, mains, sides and dips. Oh, and the grilled yellow cake with ouzo-blueberry compote was phenomenal.
My first Magissa experience and I will definitely be back. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
