We stumbled upon Marcus Diner thanks to its great reviews and proximity to our hotel, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The staff was above and beyond. The food was amazing. The vibe was so good and they were playing great music. But let’s get back to the food - the Philly is a must and whatever you get, make sure it includes hash browns. You’ll probably be too full for a cinnamon roll, but do yourself a favor and get one to go so you can enjoy later! This doesn’t deserve 5 stars, it gets 10!
Ate here twice over a weekend stay in Portland - once in the diner and the second a takeout order on our way out of town. Yummy breakfast both times. Must try the hobo hash browns....Quite the treat.
