It was fun. Bartender was really good. She handled the whole place alone and it was busy! I gave a 4 star only because the outside seating allows smoking and I don’t care for breathing that in.
This place has a nice, chill vibe, with locals and travelers alike hanging out. Drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. If you are coming here for good food this isn’t the place. Just very quick deep fried food.
Munjoy Hill Tavern was the perfect dive bar we were in search of in Portland. We came in later on a Friday night and were able to sit at the bar and enjoy $3 Miller High Life, something every dive should have. The bartender was friendly and let us take over the TouchTunes, to which we discovered we had 50 credits. Needless to say we took full advantage. The bar also has live music on other nights and a full back patio deck. Overall, great Portland dive!
