Amazing service!!! As a Dominican I'm very critical of sweet plantains and I made it be known to the person grilling. He let me try a piece to make sure they were up to my standards and they WERE!!! I chose the shrimp, beef and chicken mixed grill and it was soooo good!!! Chicken was perfectly cooked and the side of sweet plantains was a great portion!!!

This place is really lively and has a great outdoor vibe. The food was really good—we tried both the chicken flap and beef suya with jollof rice. Prices are reasonable, and overall liked the spot. Only downside is the limited parking; the roadside area is usually too crowded.

Bold flavors and serious craveability! Once you try the suya spice blend and jollof rice here, you'll be hooked. The dodo (fried plantains) were perfectly caramelized, sweet, soft, and just the right touch of crisp on the edges.
We ordered the combo plate with chicken lap, dodo, and jollof rice, along with the beef skewers. The beef was tender and packed with flavor, and I especially loved the fresh crunch from the sliced onions served with it.
You’ll find this pop-up food cart at the Portland Zoo on weekends, a fun little bar with plenty of picnic tables, perfect for a casual outdoor bite. If you’ve never had Nigerian BBQ before, this is a flavorful introduction. You’ll be dreaming about those spices long after your plate is clean.
