The Old Port Sea Grill has been a consistent stalwart in the Old Port since 2004! It often is overlooked as new places pop up and get a big buzz on social media. The Sea Grill has stood the test of time because it offers good food, attentive service and is a good value. It's a place for casual dining as well as conducting business over a savory lunch. I will be returning more often!

We had the stuffed flounder and oysters - they were both excellent. We also had the won ton dip and it was a little too sweet for our tastes.

Excellent food, cute place, a bit noisy for 2 seniors. Service was very good. Particularly enjoyed the baked haddock reccomended by our server.

Service was very good. Food was okay, chowder had a nice flavor but it was difficult to find much clam or potato, more like a bisque. Stuffed haddock was tasty, needed more stuffing and sauce, very little of both, but a nice sized piece of fish cooked well. The oyster eaters enjoyed them immensely! Dessert menu was lackluster so we skipped. Had a very nice glass of wine that was on special.

The food was OK. Nothing to write home about. Service and ambience was great. One of the few restaurants near the waterfront with last minute availability.

Twice dined there over the weekend. Absolutely wonderful experience. Love the oysters, and the entrees were delicious, plus great recommendations by Charlotte as well as service by the rest of the staff!

It was really good! I would recommend to anyone looking for good seafood and good service.

Staff were wonderful! Food was fantastic! Ambiance was very nice! Definitely going back! Lobster Fra Diavolo was delicious! Calamari was tender as well!

My family of 3 came on a Saturday night and even though we didn't have a reservation we were able to get a high-top table at the bar area. Our server Garrett was wonderful and took great care of us. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the stuffed halibut, steak frites and shrimp cocktail and everything was delicious! Our meal here was the best one we had while visiting Southern Maine!

Simple but exquisitely prepared food and delightful service. We had the grilled salmon and grilled sea scallops and they were excellent (good for everyone, but esp good for those on GLPs).

Lots of seafood - which is what you expect in Portland. So far so good. But this is a tourist joint right across from the waterfront. My burger was presented cold. The restaurant was almost empty. Fries were good and hot though. Look - you don't reheat burgers or think that the heat lamps are good enough. They are not. The bacon on the burger was that cold greasy done three hours ago type. Ugh.

Loved the Crab Rangoon dip with chips; also, Baked stuffed haddock very good. Nice glass of Gruner Veltliner.

wonder, not wander

Old Port Sea Grill and Raw Bar in Portland, Maine offers fresh seafood in a more old school tavern atmosphere than other restaurants in Portland. Our group liked the raw oysters! Our waiter was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. I recommend this place if you want an atmosphere shift from the typical seafood shack experience.

We sat outside and it was lovely with a breeze but I don't think I can accurately rate the ambience.

We had a large group which can be difficult, but this place came through beautifully. Our server was excellent. All orders came out accurately and together. We could not figure out why they weren't busier. Everyone enjoyed their food. Excellent choice in a very busy and often overcrowded part of town. We will return!
