As a lifelong New Yorker I have been bummed that there was no truly NY pizza in Portland. I was so delighted to find this place. This is as close as you are going to get in Portland to a true NY slice. And New Yorkers want the option to pop in and grab a slice, which no one else seems to do. And we like pizza late into the evening and thankfully this place stays open past 8 or 9 pm. This place ticks all the boxes.
I had never been to this establishment and to the delight of my friends who recommended it, we popped in to get us some slices on a cold winters day. The interesting thing is when you first walk in, you are taking a time warp to New York city with people hanging out and it literally is like a scene from a movie. This is a great location.Full of character and the pizza is absolutely delicious.My personal favorite is the bacon Ricotta and Sweet potato pizza!!!! Love How they use only the freshest ingredients and put pride into their food!!! Is always a must hit when I am in the mood for a pizza.And not to mention the meatball sub is delicious!!!! They also have a great cheesecake selection and have soda's slices to go!!!!
