I can speak from experience that the food here is just as good if not better(!) than po'boys in the Big Easy itself. Try the macaroons. +Chef's Kiss+

The shrimp poboy had a thin layer of small shrimp. Having such few shrimp resulted in it tasting heavily of bread. The gumbo was a very light color, had an interesting texture and was served at a unsafe lukewarm temperature. Hopefully they were just having an off day, but we will not be back to find out.

Having great food is one thing but these guys set the perfect example for customer service. Cool stickers too!

Got a fried shrimp dinner was very disappointing the shrimp were tiny and very tough. The sauce they came with was almost straight mayo.

Food came out quickly, was brought directly to my table and it was delicious.

Took 15 minutes for a milkshake. There wasn't anyone else waiting for an order or to place an order, line cook wasn't busy, phone wasn't ringing, no other food was moving out of the kitchen. Guys out back just refused to make it. 10 minutes after asking for it, the cashier had to make it while they goofed off.

Unfortunately I am writing from a place of disappointment. I haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years, I was in the area so I was excited to stop in. My lunch as $29.53 for a sandwich and fried onion pedals. The onions were cold, the bread was stale and different from the bread they used in the past, the portion was about 30% smaller. Oh and they forgot the bacon they charged me 3 dollars for. Can’t say I’ll be coming back.

Just the absolute best, one of our favorite places to eat in Portland. The seafood Po Boys especially are incredible. The owner is almost always there and you can tell he loves their food and takes a lot of pride in their work and the staff there. We love the friendly atmosphere, great prices and the fresh cookies and milkshakes are the best in town!

Genuinely the best food I’ve had in weeks. Perfectly cooked flavorful fish po’ boy and Mexican chocolate shake. And an employee held the door for me on the way out. 5 stars
