The Big Chief is what I had tonight and I was quite pleased. The sandwich was well filled and flavorful. The sides we ordered along with the different sauces were all on point. Staff is friendly and willing to offer suggestions. We will definitely be returning!

Legit. Got the shrimp poboy. Grew up in Louisiana and this is better than a lot of places in New Orleans.

Ordered turkey " ray nag" with Cajun slaw-nothing Cajun about slaw-BLAND SANDWICH, GREASY, DISAPPOINTING. Threw the rubber out since it was on bottom of bag -grease ate through bag.
$30 wasted. Never again! It was our first and last experience

Fantastic cheeseburger. Wish it came with fries is the only thing. But may be the best burger in Portland.

This restaurant serves legitimately the best sandwich in Maine. I went in with my husband's order and talked to the owner while looking at the menu. I didn't know what I wanted. The owner gave me his insight into the 3 options I chose and why each one was good. He was transparent about where the food was sourced from and even reccomended fried pickles, macaroons and several other restaurants to me while I was there. I loved what I ate, the cheeseburger ? po boy and fried pickles. I have yet to try the macaroons. I appreciated his honesty and transparency too. It was an amazing experience after a long day at the Hospital. We need more restaurants like this in Maine!

Sandwiches are always excellent here. Ordered a vanilla custard shake and was kind of weirded out when the girl at the counter said sorry to the person preparing my food.

A debris poboy is a work of art. It is built and browned to be a thick and savory sandwich. As a Louisiana native this sandwich made me want to cry. All of the components were there but the execution was sloppy. 26$ for a soup meat sandwich. ?
