Food has gone down hill big time as far as the empanadas. beef is super salty and chicken taste like they used dollar store bbq seasoning. The lady helped me with a refund but still very disappointing.

This place is a gem. Campesino coffee, puerco empanada, maduros, and yuca fries were sooo delicious. Such comfort food and warm welcoming service too. Valentina especially was sweet and had helpful recommendations and insights on the menu. Thank you!

AWESOME FOOD, friendly staff (except for the one Anerican dude with long hair who works there. He’s okay but can be rude sometimes), and great consistency. The consistency for me is key because I regularly go to this restaurant for take out and every time their empanadas are well seasoned, portioned, and cooked. Love how they stamp the empanadas with different names so I know which ones I’m eating before I take a bite.
The Patacon is also great. I wish they charged less for garlic aioli.. $4 for a little tub is more than the cost of an empanada.. but it’s okay for me because it’s good sauce and the rest of the menu minus the drinks are priced fairly.
Overall couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Needed a quick bite to eat while driving through Portland, so we ordered online. Food was fresh and ready when we stopped by, and I was able to pick it up with no problem and get back on the road! The restaurant itself was so cute, we will definitely be back to eat in person next time we are in Portland :) The Cuban sandwich and empanadas were excellent!!

My mom really wanted vegetarian Empanadas, so I had to find a place for her. I was glad this was so close. It has a comfortable, casual atmosphere and friendly service. You order at the register and take a number. They have a bar and unique non-alcoholic drinks. I got the ham and pineapple and pulled pork and plantain and they were so delicious. Very hot inside and the baked Empanadas are thin shelled. My mom really liked her vegetarian options and she let me try a piece of her desert Empanadas which was divine.
I already can’t wait to eat here again!!! I got the 3 empanada meal with chicken, beef, and cheese empanadas seasoned and fried to perfection. My partner is vegetarian and got the veggie and rice/bean empanadas. The veggie ones use a different dough - I prefer the shells mine had, but the veggie ones were still nice and crispy.
I highly recommend the churros and garlic aioli as well!
Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was peaceful and clean.
