The pollo empanada in particular was fantastic! The chicken was smoky and tender to perfection.

Love this place! Favorite neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner or just to take a walk and get a snack. The “puerco” and the “tomato” empanadas are great and the churros are amazing! The space is nice but also a great takeout option.

One of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve had. Great staff and location. Be wary, your BM the next day will be intense. The food is worth it though.

I can't even think of one thing I've had here that wasn't perfection. That's huge. Everything I've ordered is full of flavor and so fresh. Staff are attentive, kind and pay attention to detail. Great cozy space as well in a perfect location.Highly recommend the empanadas (I've had all except shrimp, and all delicious!), the fried cheese w/ Pineapple Sauce (I literally close my eyes and smile when I eat this), the Cuban sandwich, arepas, tostones, and tamales. It's all perfect *chefs kiss*Order extra salsa - it's amazing not only with the empanadas but to take home to have with chips and leftovers. The limeades and smoothies are great as well. Watch for rotating desserts, some super unique deserts make their way through as well. This place radiates joy and I hope it's around for a long, long time. Something this good you hang on to and never let go! 100/10!

The empanadas were great! We had a large order and the tostones for my order was a little overdone but other than that really good.

This was not my first time coming here, but it will certainly be the last. My colleague and I were so excited to dine here as we had in the past, but this was the WORST service experience we ever had. We arrive, and they don't even take our order for 20 minutes. We finally order at 11:45 (per my receipt), and we proceed to wait until 12:20, and still not get our food. In the meantime, 2 different customers who ordered AFTER us are getting their food. I finally take my receipt up to the front, and air my frustration. The server/Cashier (Erick I think his name was), tells me "our order is next ". It is a lie, they just plain forgot about us. At this point, we cant even stay and enjoy our food because it has taken so long so we tell them to just pack it to go. By 12:30pm, we finally get out food. The server just tosses the bag in our direction, no apology for the horrendous service, NOTHING. I get it, it was busy, I worked in a restaurant many years ago myself, I understand. But that is what separates restaurants who truly value their customer experience, how they behave WHEN it is busy. It's fine, there are plenty of other restaurants to dine at. No need to spend my hard earned money here.

Empanadas are amazing. Location is perfect. Staff is sweet and quick! Love the wallpaper that makes it feel like you're not in the city, and the outdoor option on nice days. The steak entree is to die for.

I paid 8.50 plus tax for yuca fries…. They weren’t great. Hardly a handful in the serving.

A fantastic and authentic fast casual spot with amazing empanadas, burritos, quesadillas, and several other dishes I won't even try to spell or pronounce. Quick and courteous counter service (with a liquor license!) and polite staff and a perfect place to pop in for lunch or dinner. Very close to Maine Medical Center and the entirety of the west end. Rarely a wait and everything can be made to-go. I go almost every week and have NEVER been disappointed. Seriously, try the empanadas!Vegetarian options: The cheese quesadilla is GOOD.Many options exist without contact with meat.Few vegan options and cross-contamination may happen, but absolutely worth the risk.Parking: Street parking onlyWheelchair accessibility: Use the left door and order to-go. There are places outside but stairs within. Still accessible, although not convenient.

Really enjoyed discovering this place. Loved the selection of smoothies and coffees (espresso drinks!) to go with the food. Had empanadas and yuca fries and enjoyed both but empanada crust was very thick which some ppl might not be used to. Would give it 5 stars but was kinda bummed that if you get sauces and sour cream can easily up your bill by $5-$10.Parking: Weekdays you have to pay for street parking and it’s hard to find, but it’s free on the wknds and easy to find spots on Congress or the side streets.

The bean frito empanada was amazing, great tostones. I also had a strawberry limeade that was perfect. Great vegetarian options and delicious sauces too.
