Our family’s go-to spot. Love watching them making the pasta, everything is so fresh. Pairing a pasta with one of the great wines is perfect. The service has also always been fantastic. It’s definitely worth finishing off your night with a dessert!

Fresh ingredients and tasty dishes. The bruschetta was unfortunately large and stupid to eat

Went for the 1st time tonight, everything on the menu sounded delicious, I wanted to order 1 of each lol, but ultimately ended up sharing the spaghetti & meatballs w/marinara & beet salad… bc if an Italian restaurant cant do marina or bolognese well its a sign😆 We got the $30 lg portion to share & the portion was huge, we took a lot home! I was a lil disappointed meals dont come w/ any bread unless you pay for it separately. Our beet salad app was 💯 flavorless, a waste of $13, way under dressed & under seasoned. Just a giant pile of dry arugula & decent amt of the most bland beets ive ever tasted (& Ive never met a beet i didnt love, theyre my favorite loll). The spaghetti & marina was veryy good, well seasoned, fresh & made to order! The 4 meatballs were giant, fairly moist but tasted like garbage:( Im not a fan of sausage, they tasted like straight up sausage meatballs. The italian red wine I had was one of the best Ive ever tasted! Service was absolutely perfect & the it was a casual, very busy, fun ambiance! Doubt we’ll ever go back but if we do I’d prob order the caprese salad w/house made mozz or the bruschetta or thin crust pizza I saw at the tables next to me lol! They looked fabulous. No the best spaghetti & meatballs Ive ever had, not the worst.

We recently had a meal on a weeknight at the Corner Room, first time since the Pandemic, as reservations has been difficult to get. Our server was courteous but not particularly friendly. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes and a couple of appetizers, one of them being the fried calamari. There was a wire mixed in the bowl of fried calamari, and when I showed our server, she informed me that it was the wire from their scrubber! It was really gross and shocking. She took the calamari dish and my plate away without apologizing, and asked me if we would want another calamari appetizer, to which we said yes. Of course she did not bring a new plate and utensils for me, so I could continue finishing my dinner without us asking for it. At the end, they did not make us pay for the calamari, but she did not formally inform us of that, nor apologize for this terrible mistake that they've made. The reason we knew we weren't charge for that one dish, was simply because it's not shown on the receipt. However, there was no acknowledge whatsoever from the server or anyone from the restaurant. The food in general was flavorful and fresh, but the attitude of the server was terrible and utterly disrespectful. A wire can be very dangerous and could potentially cause serious injury. I am glad that I spotted it before putting it in my mouth. I am surprised that they didn't think we deserve an apology at the least.

We had such a great experience here! We arrived a bit early for our reservation and decided to grab seats at the bar—and we’re so glad we did. Arielle, the bartender, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel right at home, gave excellent recommendations, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed the whole evening. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back, and next time, we might just head straight for the bar!

By far the best Italian food I have ever had. The chicken pasta dish was beyond delicious, carpaccio was also amazing. I was not a fan of their old fashion. Service was slow as they were very busy. The cost per meal was perfect for the amount and quality of food.

On a quiet Tuesday night, incredibly slow service. Entrees were lukewarm/cool. Food pretty basic, yet quite expensive. Have been there many times, but don’t think we will be back.

Still a great place to grab some affordable Happy Hour drinks, sit at the bar, and let your stress melt away.

Great atmosphere for a date or get together after work and friendly service with a smile.

The bar snacks are quite delicious and the glasses of wine are plentiful for the price.

I’ve been going to The Corner Room for a year since moving here, and it has been one of my favorite spots. The food is always fantastic, and the convenience of it being just across the street makes it a go-to for me. However, tonight was the first time I had a disappointing experience.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by a gentleman at the front who asked if we were dining in. I said yes, for two people, and he informed me they wouldn’t have a table until 8:30 PM. It was just before 7 PM, so I asked to be put on a waitlist, but he said they didn’t have one. Instead, he told us we could sit in the small seating area near the entry and they would let us know when a table opened up. That was perfectly fine with me.

As we waited, multiple other couples arrived. After about 20–30 minutes, the gentleman approached me and asked if we were waiting for the bar. I reminded him we were waiting for a table, as I had already stated twice before. Despite this, he continued seating other guests at the bar while seemingly forgetting about us. When I went up to clarify again, he suddenly changed our estimated seating time to 9:30 PM, even though he had originally said 8:30 PM. When I pointed this out, he hesitated and then corrected himself back to 8:30 PM, only to later insist that we would actually need to wait until 9:30 PM and that he couldn’t seat us at all. He mentioned he was confused and thought we wanted to sit at the bar & said there was a lot was going on. His attitude became increasingly passive-aggressive, and he avoided eye contact while dismissing my concerns.

At that point, we decided to leave and go to Via Veccia instead, where we were warmly welcomed and had a great dining experience.

This was truly disappointing, as I have never had a bad experience here before. The food and service at The Corner Room have always been excellent, and I will continue coming back, but I do believe the restaurant should ensure that the front-of-house staff is properly trained to handle guests professionally and efficiently. A more organized system and clearer communication would go a long way in preventing situations like this in the future.
