The Gelato Fiasco was a nice surprise to enjoy an ice cream at the end of the evening. The flavors offered are varied and original, and the waiter, particularly kind that evening, took the time to let us taste those that intrigued us the most. This place was recommended by a waitress at a place in Portland where we had lunch. We sampled a few flavors and the staff was nice enough to let us try a few of the popular ones and her favorites in addition to the couple of flavors we specifically asked for. We ordered a treat size of the Mascarpone pistachio caramel and 2 favors in small - the mango sorbetto and special hazelnut. Far from a fiasco. I don’t eat dairy and was expecting nothing for me, but the server recommended a few of the sorbets—I went with half chocolate, half blueberry, and it was delicious. So flavorful, natural-tasting, and somehow creamy.
