Ordered eggplant dip for $15.00 and it doesn't come with bread, chips crackers anything to eat it with. You have to order pita bread or cukes. Small pita bread is $1.00 each. Fries $7.00 tasted like they are from a bag of frozen French fries.

Stopped in for dinner with 6 members of my family with a variety of diet restrictions and had a blast. We shared 12 to 15 small plates all of which were memorable. Was a Portland and we ended up having almost the whole restaurant to ourselves. We enjoyed the wait staff, knowledgeable and charming they made the whole experience a night to remember. Can't wait to go back and tell my friends from up the coast that this is a must visit when in Portland.

It is a rare and wonderful thing when a chef prepares a meal that is true to its cultural roots. It is restaurants such as this that puts Portland on the map of gourmand's delights. Executive Chef David Schneller serves up a selection of Mediterranean dishes as if for his own family, which we were made to feel as we sat for dinner. The plates are small so you can order a broader sampling from the menu and share them. This is a dining experience not to be missed.

I so badly want to leave a good review for this restaurant but after this experience I’m writing Tiqa off for good. I ordered lemon and lentil soup $14 Should have been served with goat cheese and pita. I received a half empty cup of something like soup? It didn’t have any flavor other then a slight hint of spice. The Tiqa salad, also $14 Winter greens, beets, feta and pistachio? No. I received a side salad portion of romaine lettuce and biter cherry tomatoes. I’m hangry and angry that I spent $50 total on food and half of it did not resemble anything close to the description on the menu and tastes terrible. Don’t waste your hard earned $$$.

Our waitperson was terrific. But the bar service for simple scotch and soda and a martini was unacceptably slow. The shish were overcooked, and one was tough. Too small for the price, five one inch cubes of meat. The baba ganoush was fabulous. The pita not even warm, should have shown some grilling, another few minutes on the grill or in the pan. The bill for three people was over $150.

We were the only inside customers for Sunday brunch, which made for a rather gloomy atmosphere. The menu offerings were limited and expensive. They used to have a luncheon mezze plate which would be a great brunch offering for sharing.

We have been going to Tiqa for years and normally love the food. We visited for brunch this past Sunday and were disappointed with what felt like a very limited menu. Service was wonderful and the baba and hummus were lovely, as always, but the entrees were lackluster. Additionally, if you can't eat eggs, the choices were very limited. We did expect a more diverse menu for a brunch.

TIQA was an excellant choice for our anniversary dinner. Cocktails were wonderful. Service was beyond excellant. I had lentil soup with rice, very authentic. My wife had lamb kambob with the freshest cumcumbers and tahni I have had in awhile. A small carafe of wine and hummus and the most freshest pita to go. Dined in comfortable chairs along the street to see all the going ons. Not a traditonal setting but very contemperary. Would definetley visit again on a special occassion. Prices were reasonable.

This was our first visit to TIQA and we were so pleased! Being both vegan and gluten free has made dining out very difficult at times, but we were so excited to find SO MANY delicious Mediterranean dishes that we could choose from on the menu! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back repeatedly! Thank you, TIQA

We sat at the bar and ordered a few different things thinking we would keep the small plates coming. Turns out that the 3 portion sizes we ordered were large enough that we only needed to do it once and we were full. Loved that the menu was a combination of items from multiple cultures around the Mediterranean. Absolutely beautiful décor and the lounge portion looked like it would be a comfortable place to hang with friends. Will definitely go back.

I worked in fine restaurants as a chef while in college, decades ago: so I am critical. The food here is very good, and well executed. The octopus roasted red pepper, baba , and some sort of Mediterranean potato pancake were outstanding, Home made pita and basmati with currants, almonds, golden raisins, Fabulous. The lamb shish was a tad overcooked for my liking, but I did not order it rare. I think they did a very good job

I love the small plates - each dining experience becomes a buffet of delights. Every time I come to Portland this is one of my favorite stops. The cooking gets better with each visit. The wait staff couldn't be more helpful. They always want to make sure I have a good time. Don't miss this one!

Delicious food. Great vegan options. Unique and well prepared. We tried babaganoush, dolmadas, potato pancakes, calamari and beans, all type kebobs, polenta and salmon. Everything was yummy. I especially loved the chocolate mousse dessert. Perfect!

Vegan, vegetarian, and all the meats! There is something here for everyone. The food is phenomenal and the staff is top shelf! Make sure you bring your appetite! So many small plates and entrées to try!

First off, they are very forward with information about food allergies and possible cross contamination!! Several of the menu items looked delicious, so I ordered a few things to try. I had my eye on the spicy fries, but unfortunately couldn't have them due to the fryer not being dedicated, but again, they were very forthcoming about that. They really cared about my dining experience. *It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because the appetizer I got instead was DIVINEThe decor is SO NICE. I've never seen a bathroom that nice ANYWHERE, even at the "luxury" spa I go to. I couldn't believe how nice they were. I felt like they were clean and attended to regularly.I will edit and update after I eat, but so far, the mocktail mule is hitting the spot!UPDATE: the hummus and marinated feta with cucumbers were out of this world!! I don't even like feta, and I couldn't stop eating this. For dinner, I ordered the Potato Knafeh, and the Falafel Plate. Both exceeded my expectations. The Falafel was THE BEST I have ever tasted. My husband had polenta for the first time, and cleaned his plate.EAT HERE, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO EAT DELICIOUS FOOD!!
