We love staying at Aloft. This is our third stay and Chris at wxyz bar is amazing. He knows Portland so well and can give you a recommendation for anything you’re looking to do or see in Portland. We’re so grateful for his attentiveness and care in his drinks and the atmosphere at wxyz.

Totally unexpected but what an amazing experience. I stayed st the Aloft but you do not need to be a hotel guest to visit this bar. In addition to his cocktail recommendations, Chris is a wealth of knowledge for anything you want to do in the area. If you’re visiting Portland, do yourself a favor and stop by to see him. Also open until 12AM.

Came here after receiving a free drink at check-in (was given a different room) and I’m glad me and my wife stopped by. The bartender Chris was super friendly and went out of his way to recommend different drinks at the bar and gave us numerous dinner options in the area. My wife and I each had two drinks and they were all delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a friendly environment and a feeling of home when Chris is bartending.

Hotel on Commercial St , in Old Port, best walk in shower ever,,, perfect location.
Front desk receptionists were over the top in being helpful.
Priced right for winter season

not what I expected. when I booked the room it was supposed to be a corner room and an ocean view but unfortunately it's not true I mean you can see the ocean over the buildings just barely so I guess they covered themselves. no restaurant and quite a high charge for valet parking for someone that is handicapped. maybe they are new and need some growth in the hotel business
