XO Burgers & Wings

The burger and wings we ordered were good, but the Mozzarella sticks were life changing.I was sad when I opened the box and only saw 3 sticks (who cares if that's a decent amount of cheese to eat in one sitting, 3 doesn't look like a lot). On first bite I nearly shed a tear (I'm being literal - as Autists tend to do) at the flavor combination of the sticks and tomato jam. This is a great addition to the Big Tree family. The burger was one of the best I’ve had in Portland, as were the fries. The wings were very disappointing, but the house made ranch dressing was exceptional. I’ll be back, and hope to bump this review up a couple stars if the wings improve!

Had takeout for Maine Restaurant Week...ordered a few burgers for my two boys and me and had three flavors of wings and Fries. I appreciate the effort to explore new flavors. The onions on my Mushroom Burger were way too sweet and detracted from the overall flavor. Bacon and Bleu burger was better, as was the American Burger.
