Pizza was great. Service a bit of a head scratcher. Went there for a pickup order and bartender fetched my pizza but seemed like she disappeared to another building and came back 10 minutes later with the pizza. (?)

Best pizza I have had in Maine! Did a slice, so was quick and friendly service, wait staff was always smiling. The best part of the experience was requesting a song from the gentleman on the synth and him taking a moment to learn it! Leave your guess in the comments.

Excellent customer service. Wonderful staff. Amazing food. I ordered online and picked up my food. I arrived early for pick up. This was my first time having ZA! Easy street parking and very pleasant staff.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for my son. I ordered macaroni and cheese for my daughter. Lastly, I ordered a BLT sandwich for me! The food was so great that we all ended up eating each other's food. It was so EPIC!

I was only able to take one photo of the pizza before it got devoured with everything else I ordered!!! Thank you ZA!

We will be back more more... probably THIS WEEK!

Soo good! Highly recommend the mushroom pizza, especially if you love truffle. It's a thin but rich pizza with a thick chewy crust. A bit pricey but it really was worth it.

Za Pizza absolutely made our wedding reception! From start to finish, they were an absolute joy to work with. The team was super friendly, professional, and incredibly thoughtful in every detail. Our guests are still raving about how fun and delicious the pizza bar was—honestly, some said it was the best pizza they’ve ever had!

They handled everything seamlessly, which let us relax and actually enjoy our evening. They even made us a heart shaped pizza with “Just Married” in pepperoni. It added such a personal and memorable touch to our celebration, and it truly reflected the relaxed, joyful vibe we wanted.

If you’re considering Za Pizza for an event—do it. They brought amazing food, amazing energy, and made our special day even more special. We can’t thank them enough!

Za in Portland, Maine, marks an exciting new chapter for the duo behind the beloved Truckin Pizza. After years of serving up pies from their popular food truck, they’ve brought their craft to a permanent home - and it shows. Even as a carryout order, the quality and care behind these pizzas came through in every bite.

The Margherita showcased Za’s commitment to perfect dough - a crisp, thin base with excellent structure and a bready, airy crust that revealed beautiful gluten networks. The sauce was outstanding: bright, balanced, and full of fresh tomato flavor.

The Potato Pizza was pure comfort - salty, oily, and irresistibly rich. Thinly sliced potatoes paired beautifully with caramelized onions and gooey cheese, creating a perfect balance of texture and flavor.

The Plain Cheese was another standout, with a perfectly foldable slice, pleasantly salty cheese, and a sweet, flavorful sauce that tied everything together.

If this is what Za’s pizzas taste like outside the oven, I can only imagine how good they are fresh from the hearth. A visit to the new brick-and-mortar location is already on my list - and it’s clear this team’s passion for their craft translates beautifully from truck to table.

Pizza was DELICIOUS, but keep in mind it's on the pricey side compared to Flatbread Co. We went on a Sunday evening and it was pretty much dead in there, but we had a great dinner of cesar salad (very yummy, but the croutons were rock hard) and 2 pizzas that were super tasty. It was a little cold in there for a pizza place where I kind of expect to be a little warm and toasty and cozy. I wish they had more specialty options and less heavy/rich pizzas but the cost to DIY my own was upwards of $32 for a 14 inch which is way more than expected - and I wouldn't pay $8 for a canned drink again. Our waitress was nice! I'd definitely go back for takeout

These folks are absolutely killing it for a classic NY/NJ style pie. I don't think I've found anyone here doing it better. High quality sauce and cheese doesn't need toppings, Za proves it
