Unique place. Will be back. Some of their food prices are good and some are expensive. Example they have a $14 burger and a $17 salmon sandwich. Those are good prices. Then there are lots of things that are $20+ and $30+, not including their lobster items. The view is GREAT! and I you want a view while you eat, this is place to come. You stand in line and the menu is on a huge board outside. You wait your turn to order at the window and then you go to your table. (Someone in your party should go fetch a table, while others wait in line.). There are two rows of seating outside. Customer service is great. Everyone seems to be very friendly.

All I can say is prices at Claws in Maine have skyrocketed. I use to stop at Claws many times, over their summer seasons, and, as soon as opened, treating family and friends- and I love going there alone, often just to pick up lunch. But not this past summer of 2025. Prices are too high. The prices are just too high for this local. Sorry to have to move on, but...

This place won the #1 spot on my lobster roll contest out of the 6 I tried šš. While you stand in line to order the service is friendly and welcoming. They also do a wild blueberry Cobbler...fresh to order. This place is a definite stop for lobster rolls and other seafood šÆ

Wonderful spot for fresh Maine Lobster Rolls, and service, attention to detail by staff, small family owned and operated. Closed mid October through late May. Lobster rolls are market price and well worth their price.

Good lobster rolls with pricing that seems about standard for the area. Funky atmosphere with a little gift shop and good spots for pictures. Also right on the water!

Excellent place to eat Great food reasonable prices and service out of this world Would highly recommend! Iām sure you will enjoy
The lobster was outstanding! Three of us had the pound and a half lobster dinner and one had the lobster roll which was overflowing with meat. It was a nice 17 minute walk from the cruise port. We almost didnāt stay because of the line, but we are so glad we did as many told us that the wait was worth it and they were so right. Super casual with friendly staff. We thought the prices were very reasonable, considering the quality of the food.

The lobster roll was only OK, surprised given how long this place has been around and how popular it is.$$$ Clam chowder was good but not traditional New England clam chowder. Beautiful setting
Had oysters they were good, server didn't know where they were from.Whole belly clams were way over cooked, crunchy over fried,no belly.Should have sent back.Overpriced tourist trap.
This is an Awesome Maine Seafood Experience. The whimsy of the decor had us smiling. The super-friendly staff made the experience easy, fun, and delicious. I got a 1 1/2 lb lobster steamed with corn on the cob, coleslaw, and blueberry cornbread. (Delicious!) My partner ordered the fried Haddock Basket with coleslaw and fries. There is āadult beveragesā to order if you want at the bar. The seating is outside on a porch with clear-plastic sides and heaters they use if the weather is inclimate. We went on a dreary day, so I appreciated being cozy. We ordered the Blueberry Crisp. YUM! Do leave without that!
Easy walk from our shops Tender. Delicious lobster roll is about $36, but worth every bite. Beautiful views from the high tops. Shady seating available too.
We had a wonderful experience at Claws this afternoon!! We ate a lot of food because the food was so good. Between my aunt and myself, we each had a succulent lobster, some steamer clams and the blueberry crisp for dessert. Oh, and the blueberry corn bread. I will just say that all was amazing. Hannah and Becky were our food runners and they made the day even better. Becky showed my aunt how to eat a lobster the most efficient way and Hannah was a wealth of information with things to do in the area. They were both super nice and again made the day even more enjoyable. The water views while eating were beautiful. Iāll definitely return when Iām in the area!!
