“Delicious pastrami sandwich with cheese. A little on the smaller size compared to other places that I’ve eaten at that serve pastrami sandwiches. You order at the counter and they bring the sandwiches to you along with chips. Nice atmosphere.“
“We hit the drive thru late after practice. You could tell they only had a couple people working. And each person was doing multiple jobs we had quite a big order and so did the person behind us so they had us pull ahead and we had to wait about 15 minutes for our food but our order was correct hot and fresh and delicious.“
“It was gonna be a long ride home so I stopped at Dunkin Donuts. This location is pretty small and it doesn’t have a whole bunch of tables. But I was able to get a frozen chocolate and it was very good. The service here is also pretty good.“
“Driving through Thomaston on our drive along the coast of Maine. Husband and I were hungry from hiking and decided to stop. Best decision! Salad with chicken salad on top was delightful (did not skimp on toppings) and a decent portion. The Vactionland latte was flavorful with a hint of blueberry but not overly sweet. Kind staff as well!“
“Best cold brew coffee I’ve had and served up with personality. I routinely find myself here working, overlooking the harbor, and the owner is always happy to explain coffee bean varieties and his brewing process to every customer. His willingness to experiment with flavors often makes this a unique experience worth a visit. A true scientist at work.“
“I had to take a Zoom meeting on my phone and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a "phonebooth" so I didn't have to bother anyone or go outside. It's strictly BYOP (bring your own phone.) They made a latte that was just perfect. The staff were friendly, and efficient.“
“Fresh bagels made daily on site, generous cream cheese spread--what could be better? I had the bagel and lox, and my guy had the breakfast egg and sausage sandwich. We both chose sesame bagels, and we both had coffee. The place is lively and spacious, with counter folks who seemed to enjoy their jobs, and were friendly and quick to make our sandwiches, even though they were quite busy. All this, and dog-friendly too!“
“They're only available for preordered food on Saturdays (and I believe Tuesdays-although last time my boyfriend and I were in Maine they weren't open on that Tuesday). We preordered me a curried vegetable hand-pie and also some lemon almond scones. My only issue is that I should have ordered many more. So so so delicious.“
“Britney is the best employee of any restaurant I have ever been to, eaten at, or ordered from…. She needs a raise, bc I know she works her tail off, and always seems so cool and calm and sweet no matter how busy it is…. I’m a nightmare to serve in the drive thru, and my kid is always screaming, while my dogs hang out of the windows to suck in the hamburger-laced air, and she doesn’t even mind when I pay in quarters, nickels, and dimes, and ask for extra sauce…. Britney, you’re a gem!! I guarantee, if they’re serving milkshakes today, it’s because Britney makes it happen…. I wish I could have a Britney in every restaurant I drag my rowdy family to…. Please give her a company car, watch, and a significant raise, before she leaves for a better paying job, bc we want her to feel appreciated, so she can always work at the Thomaston Mickey D’s?Parking: Parking spots available for trucks AND cars…. Sedans, or coupes…. Even motorcycles, and tractors!!Kid-friendliness: I don’t judge…. Nobody likes kids….“
“1st time visitor - been wanting to try for some time. I live about an hour from Rockland, so to visit, I need to know that the earlier you get there, the better. The last time I tried to visit, I saw the dreaded "SOLD OUT" sign on the door! This time, I planned a visit with my daughter, who likes doughnuts as much as I do. We arrived shortly after they opened, so there was plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a doughnut ? there and then took a half dozen home.I was pleased by the small, homey shop. The service was great. They had plenty of patience while we labored over what to get.Didn't find any doughnut that I didn't like, but I did have favorites! For me, simpler is better, so I preferred the lemon glazed one.“
