Delicious, fresh, and generously portioned breakfast! The service is fast and friendly and the coffee is hot and tasty. Great selection of beverages (including some stand out craft beers) add to the substantial menu of comfort foods to make this a must-visit eatery for breakfast and/or lunch if you’re in Rockland!

Visiting Rockland for the weekend and had breakfast here twice. Both great food and staff! All menu selections looked great. Philly Breakfast Sandwich was awesome. And eggs and hash great as well.

Nice place. Personalized service. Good reasonably priced food. Crowded in tourist season, less so out of tourist season

My husband and I have loved this place for yrs , the last couple of times we have been , we noticed the quality is not the same. Our favorite was the breakfast rice with chicken. The last couple times it wasn’t the same , we got chunks of chicken that seemed like leftover chicken was dropped in as an after thought with skin still on.

A POPULAR local place. The receptionist knew lots of the regulars. We had a 50 minute wait, which was longer than estimated. Our server was fantastic, funny, and fast. Well done! We had lunch and we all enjoyed our tasty entrees. The turkey reuben was large and unusually scrumptious.

We were on a road trip on Maine coast and found this amazing home- cooked Cafe. My food and my husband's was amazing. Spicy stir fry and fish sandwich- fabulous food and service with such a cozy atmosphere

Almost $60 for breakfast for 2 people is a lot, especially for a very casual restaurant. But, the food was great and our meal so filling that we couldn't eat another bite until dinner. So, that averages out, right? I love huevos rancheros, order it frequently and everywhere, so had to try their Migas. Yum! My husband enjoyed his traditional omelette and the homefries that he shared were well-prepared and nicely seasoned. Kim, a veteran server, handled the full patio of guests with efficiency and good humor. You may have to wait for a table so spend a few minutes reading the extensive menu and anticipating the treats to come.

Home Kitchen Cafe is the best brunch spot in Maine! Flavors always amazing! Don’t skip the rancheros with the tangy lime mojo or the French fries. Great vegetarian options too!
